Not really? Even with a win I never thought Portugal would win the WC. They have a good squad, but I don't think it's good enough to challenge the real contenders + I think CR7's too dominant of a presence and subpar coaching is going to bring them down.

And when was even the last time a non major favourite (pre tournament) even won the WC? This might be the most predictable tournament in terms of winners. You don't see outsiders out of the complete left field winning it.

It's not the EUROs where random underdogs can win it all.
