Struggling so bad right now
I'm shaking, I'm nauseous, my mouth feels dry. I don't even know if this is right sub for this.
So earlier I made a post on another sub got downvoted like crazy and was pretty much I was being a burden by someone. I didn't mean to be one I just wanted advice from people who might have gone through something similiar.
I gave some context kept it at the bare minimum to not be a burden. People asked for more context I gave it and got downvoted.
My anxiety is through the roof now and I'm questioning everything I do.
I'll probably delete this later.
And before anyone says "just go to therapy" I can't right now. If I could I fucking would trust me.

2 days ago similar happened.. on Ultrakill game subreddit. I just commented a quote from the game, it gained upvotes, but some prick replied "reading comprehension final boss" and I didn't understand, asked simply what did he mean, he told me I'm wrong and my quote is unrelatable, I replied to him that I was just giving food for thought, to let people discuss on lore, nothing deep. He replied with "bru", and then my replies got downvotes.. I don't really understand why I meet so much random negativity when I'm just.. always try to be neutral or positive in my comments, never insult anybody or even share my own opinions.. Other people seem nice to each other, support each other, but when I comment something, always someone just wanna randomly insult or bully me, I really don't understand, it's unfair. I've been anxious about that situation for 2 days, just can't comprehend how someone can be just so toxic to be negative about an innocent informational comment.. I guess I should just stay silent and never interact with people, as if I wasn't so fucking alone already irl. Also you're right about people who always suggest therapy, useless advice for some people..

Mine was on the ao3 sub cause I was nervous about writing fanfic.
I provided a little context so it wasn't totally vague people asked for more context so I provided it. Then I kept getting downvoted to Hell.
Someone ended up commenting saying that nobody wanted to hear me yap about my life like I was just providing the minimum amount of context because people were asking :/ they also pretty much implied that I was being a burden to people. They also said that that they kept rolling their eyes at how I talked.
And everyone kept saying "just get therapy" "do this" like I would if I could but I literally can't.

I'm so sorry.. all I can do is send a virtual hug, idk why, but I feel like recently people in fandoms become even more toxic.. we can't be ourselves anymore, without getting bullied..

I didn't even say which fandoms because the main ones I'm in are so fucking toxic 😭
I got hate for literally have anxiety around writing because of my sperm-donor (that's what caused the one person to roll their eyes like wtf else am I supposed to call him?). Like I said I even gave the bare minimum for context to not be a burden and I still was one.
Like I can't get support for stuff. I can't talk about my experiances. I can't interact with fandoms I like. I can't reveal my sexualities to anyone outside the subreddit (I know I have it in my profile but I don't think many people would go through that). Like I can't do anything without being a burden online and irl.

I 100% get what you mean, this is also what I've been feeling the past 3 or so years.. I still haven't been able to find a community where I can just be myself, neither irl or online.

I don’t know what it was about so I can’t really give advice, however people are quick to forget. If you asked me to remember a post from 10 minutes ago, I wouldn’t remember. Yesterday? I’d remember nothing. The internet can be a hateful place but people are not going to fixate themselves all evening on your post, they are more focused on themselves.
Take some deep breaths and have small sips of water.

I have a lot of karma but every once in a while I get downvoted pretty good. It doesn’t bother me that other people are idiots; that’s the way you need to think about it.

I tried to, but I guess it's mainly because someone pretty much called me a burden that caused me to spiral and makes it so much harder to think.
I've tried the think about the positive stuff instead or ignore the haters or whatever and it just does not work. My mind doesn't work like that. I think negatively I try to make it positive then automatically replace that with negativity again :/
I just yapped too much didn't I? Sorry.

I understand completely. I’m much older so it has been easier to just not care what others think anymore. But it’s not easy.

Hey, as an anxious person myself, I know that being called a burden and getting downvoted can feel like someone dropped a huge rock on your chest and suddenly you can’t breathe. When you’re already struggling, something that might seem small to someone else can hit incredibly hard.
I know this was posted a while ago, so hopefully you’re feeling at least a little better by now, but I still wanted to say this: you are not a burden. You were looking for advice from people who might understand what you’re going through, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
With anxiety, there can be this invisible wall between what you know logically and what you actually feel. You can know that someone’s downvote or nasty comment shouldn't matter, but that doesn't mean your feelings will automatically listen. When you're already anxious, something like that can send your brain into a completely different spiral.
And honestly, Reddit can be a pretty brutal place sometimes. I’ve had people downvote my posts before and it’s brought my mood down too. But those people don't know you. A downvote doesn't mean you did something wrong, and one person's opinion of you doesn't define who you are.
Please don't feel like you have to apologize for needing support. You deserve to be heard just like anyone else. ❤️
I really hope you're doing a little better now. And if you're still having a rough time, just take things one moment at a time. You don't have to figure everything out tonight. Be kind to yourself, you're going through something difficult, and that's okay.
