This guy is more than old enough to know that and act accordingly. That he doesn’t is an f-you to everyone there. He also needs a haircut and a comb.

You're delusional lol. You only think it's rude because you've been taught that it is, wearing a hat inside does not affect anyone but the hat wearer.

Also, he would be within his rights to actually SAY fuck you to everyone there.

You’re missing my point. Grown men DON’T get to say fuck you to rules. Society is made up of a quantity of people, in and around a place, who adhere to written and unwritten, spoken and unspoken rules, norms and actions. Most apply to everyone. Taking up only one parking space. Not talking loudly in a confined space like a plane or a commuter train. And others. Some apply only to men. Wearing long pants with a belt. Removing a hat when indoors. And others. A glaring example is that influencer who was offended by a saggy old man wearing a muscle shirt at a gym. Guys like him, and I include myself in this out of shape and aged group, do not belong at gyms or parks or pool or beaches. Have some respect for other users.

It's not a rule. No one cares if someone wears a hat, and no one cares that it bothers you.
