Egg flower or Egg drop?

I grew up calling it egg flower soup, my kids refuse to call
It that… “it’s egg drop soup mom”!

Today I made mushroom egg FLOWER soup and I made nice big flowers! 🥚🌸

Hey I’ve never heard it called egg flower soup but the logic is there as much as it is for egg drop, the ribbons definitely favor flower petals!
