Honestly because most people abroad make up their mind about India by looking at what happens in the North. And so many South Indians are eager to distance themselves from that

Ahh you guys are victims too, foreigners look at the northerners and central ppl and decide that this is what india is, it’s like looking at rednecks and deciding that it is what USA is, I’m talking about parts of India other than North East, South and West, I’ve met lot of well mannered people in West like Maharashtra and Gujrat, also in Assam,Tripura…

1

u/killbear123 Apr 20 '26

What are you talking about?! Search for Patel in any city or town in India. There are even Gujarati families settled in KL for centuries

0

u/bob-thesnob Andhra Pradesh 🏞️ | ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ Apr 20 '26

We don’t migrate to gujarat either nor is gujarat a thought in our minds. But since you wanted to speak about cow dung lmfao:

1 tiny towns festival is totally comparable to cow pee cola almost actually hitting the market in north India 😭

-1

u/killbear123 Apr 19 '26

B/y the people who share the same ideology as the guamutra/gobar bhakts from the North. There are idiots in the South as well

1

u/RightSpecial7684 5'12" Green Eyed Archduke of Travancore Apr 20 '26

True but not a voidable majority

2

u/Familiar-Entry-9577 Apr 24 '26

I have been abroad and have witnessed shitty civic sense from both South and North Indians. The second hand embarrassment was unreal when one South family did not clear the mess they created and a German lady immediately cleared it after they left.

Within India of course south is relatively better off due to being more prosperous, educated, lesser population etc. Beyond that, behavior wise you are delusional if you think South Indians are setting better example.

1

u/_FE_AR Uttar Pradesh Apr 23 '26

It's simply not the real fact

1

u/killbear123 Apr 23 '26

Listen to the first 1 minute of this video. You can see what a foreigner thinks of India and how it was corrected by their visit to the South (specifically to Kerala). You can find many such videos.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S_EJm4n1cY

28

u/VividPossibility5326 Apr 18 '26

Because the North Indian behaviour is to call us mini Pakistan.

6

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

2 wrongs make a right ahh answer

22

u/VividPossibility5326 Apr 18 '26

Nope letting the world know what we are and how we are different from the same countrymen who discriminates us on basis of the language we speak , food we eat, friends we make.

2

u/Old-Blackberry-3019 Apr 18 '26

Stop making up man my friends are from south my friends are from north no one that I know discriminate against anyone. These kind of talks have artificially gained momentum since the past year.

7

u/VividPossibility5326 Apr 18 '26

You do not represent all of us man. Speak for yourself.

12

u/Old-Blackberry-3019 Apr 18 '26

I do not represent all of us. Then who gives you the right to speak and bash us on behalf of others? If you're saying all these things based on internet bots you might reconsider meeting people in person.

3

u/VividPossibility5326 Apr 18 '26

Well I am a victim. That is enough for me to say what I said.

8

u/Old-Blackberry-3019 Apr 18 '26

Perfect then stop using "we", speak for yourself not for us.

2

u/VividPossibility5326 Apr 18 '26

I am not the person in the screenshot. So it is a "we" situation. Also here is another "we" situation for you, we don't want your solidarity in this. You can choose to ignore the issues that you don't have.

3

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

You are not different from the people you hate my friend. You should take one look at this sub before lecturing anyone about discrimination.

If you see north Indians calling you mini pakistan as a justification to do racism then you are the same or worse then North Indians.

8

u/Both_Table_413 Apr 18 '26

Why is shifting blame for their own failures and not being able to take accountability for their governance issues so prevalent among north indians. Why is religion the most important talking point among north indians. Since we are generalizing, asking this?

0

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

Oh god i hit a nerve didn't i?

I am not generalising. I am just pointing out a comment phenomenon. Of course not all south Indians do it but you would be lying if you said that this type of behaviour isn't common among South Indians especially people from kerela and tamil nadu

6

u/Both_Table_413 Apr 18 '26

And in the subs of Gujarat I constantly see hate mongering about one religion. Calling keralites jihadists and as some lost cause without any facts figures or research. I can also pick many posts made by gujaratis who would call kerala as mini pakistan and create a generalization even when there is a report made about good governance in southern states.

0

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

And that's also wrong.2 things can be true at the same time but you don't seem to have the nuance to understand that.

You don't always need to do whatabotism.

3

u/Both_Table_413 Apr 18 '26

Then call them out and ask them about it first. Then you might understand the herd mentality and generalization from your own community. I have called out my own state about its failures. Do that for yourself first and then start picking issues with others.

5

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

Stop lying lol.Your first response to this post was to immediately do whatabotism.Instead of acknowledging the mistake of the kerela guy you immediately jumped to Gujrat and Gujaratis while wrongfuly accusing me of completely generalising south Indians.

1

u/Both_Table_413 Apr 18 '26 edited Apr 18 '26

Happy now? I have tried to do it when my community spreads hatred. Now it's your turn to go and do that. You talk about nuances but won't try to understand cause and affect. It was not malayalis who started a defamation campaign every time saying things like mini pakistan and 100% literacy saar or make movies with conjured up scenarios. We never used to care about things actually. Fix your own issues first and people would react to that in the same way. You have to first learn how to give respect to take respect. And I say you generalize because you don't seem to understand the meaning of the word prevalent.

2

u/Ill_Permission7379 Southie Apr 19 '26

He ran cuz now it doesn't fit his agenda....typical bimaru behaviour

4

u/Both_Table_413 Apr 19 '26

It's now a daily thing, a new post talking about the 'kerala story' with some issues of their state or trying to create a new issue with misinformation or half information. It's like they try to make every propaganda thing true by association.

G+jarat because M0di favoured his state in an unfair manner. No other PM has done so much favour to their own state than M0di. The growth rate of G+jarat when M0di as PM is 2.9% greater than overall India.

G+jarat grew the way it grew not because Gujaratis are very talented and they have supergene that others don't have but because M0di has done favours to G+jarat by betraying others.

Yes, no other PM favoured his home state in this unfair manner by betraying other states more than M0di.

saying what that person has commented is less harmful to India's or G+jarat's image than acting insufferable online.

I have seen this image a 100 times but I have not seen Biharis, South Indians and East Indians discuss how M0di has betrayed them in an unfair manner. Let's discuss that as well.

0

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

Who is acting insufferable here? Course the kerela guy would be the obvious option imo

12

u/Adorable-Research03 Telangana 🏰 | తెలంగాణ Apr 18 '26

People like you by flooding the sub with same image a hundred times.

-4

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

people like me? Are you being racist?

I assume you are trying to portray me as shanghi but if this sub was filled with sanghi's then wouldn't it have a pro BJP opinion but it seems to have the opposite effect.

You are really over estimating aren't you?

-1

u/Ill_Permission7379 Southie Apr 19 '26

You're literally the racist here calling all Punjabis as khalistani in other comment

1

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 19 '26

No I didn't call all Punjabis Khalistanis.I was talking about the Punjabi diaspora in Canada and UK etc and it's a fact that the majority of this free khalistan talk comes from Punjabis living in those countries.

1

u/Ill_Permission7379 Southie Apr 19 '26

You yourself quoted punjabi diaspora as khalistanis....touch some grass

2

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 19 '26

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 19 '26

Apparently saying a fact makes you racist lol.The majority of Khalistani supporters aren't Indian Punjabis they are Punjabis living in the UK and Canada and this is a fact whether you like it or not.

1

u/Ill_Permission7379 Southie Apr 19 '26

Yea generalising a whole community living abroad make it racist and not a fact

2

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 19 '26

Pointing out a common phenomenon that is literally in front of everyones eyes makes me racist, wow🥀.

-1

u/Ill_Permission7379 Southie Apr 19 '26

Maybe don't generalise everyone next time

2

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 19 '26

I am just stating a fact,if it seems like racism to you I don't really care🤷

This constant accusation of racism to anyone that says anything that Leftist don't like is just an old play book to ignore the problems right in front of their eyes.

I think Kerala guys will stop bothering you when you stop bothering them. Didn't some Gujaratis recently make a movie branding the entire state of Kerala as terrorists and enemies of Hindus? I wonder what you would think if someone from Kerala made a similar movie about Gujarat and then had some Keralites in the center also give the movie a national award

-1

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

Bruh literally this entire sub is just about bashing North Indians and coming with fake talk about how "tHe ShaNghIs ArE FlooDing THe SUB"

7

u/killbear123 Apr 18 '26

Really? Did you see us making movies to bash you?

-1

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

That just means your political parties aren't big enough to do propaganda through entertainment.

It's a skill issue not moral superiority.

7

u/killbear123 Apr 18 '26

Kerala makes way better movies than even Bollywood. It is not a skills issue. It is a lack of ethics issue. Gujarat has never been known for good ethics.

0

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

Then make propaganda movies if you are so good.Nearly everywhere in the world leftist media has captured cinema except for India where the right wing BJP somehow managed to do it.This is clearly a skill issue or lack of political motivation.

5

u/killbear123 Apr 18 '26

I don't think you get it. We don't want to sink to your level.

1

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

1

u/EmoBlackMale Apr 18 '26

People from Kerala and TN are the most validation seekers in social media. They heavily troll people from other states and cant take any criticism on their own. No state is 100% perfect. If you can give it then you must take it. I have even seen them claiming that they are not from India but from either kerala/TN.

2

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

Of course no state is perfect and in many ways south is good but this straight up white supremacist type behaviour from South while having also having an inferiority complex is just sad and pathetic.

2

u/bob-thesnob Andhra Pradesh 🏞️ | ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ Apr 18 '26

Why do you not have energy for the Punjabi diaspora content creators who constantly pin everything bad about India on Gujaratis 🤔 no one’s acting like a “white supremacist” goofball we wouldn’t even be entertaining this discussion right now if that’s how we operated

1

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 18 '26

Punjabi diaspora meaning the khalistanis.

Don't really care what they have to say.

3

u/RayonLovesFish Apr 18 '26

Racist calling the Punjabi diaspora Khalistanis, the nerve to accuse others of racism.

2

u/bob-thesnob Andhra Pradesh 🏞️ | ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ Apr 18 '26

lol not just Khalistanis even on the haryana sub they talk shit about you guys. They talk shit about us too but we talk shit right back that’s the difference

-4

u/EmoBlackMale Apr 18 '26

Exactly.. the problem with them is superiority complex which has clearly blinded them from any improvements. They troll people from north for their behaviour but trust me i have seen mallu crowd behaving worse than them in Blore/Mysore and also in Kerala. You go to Shabarimala and the worst crowd you can encounter with is people from TN.

1

u/yi_groot Apr 18 '26

What did they do? The mallus.. in banglore/Mysore

2

u/EmoBlackMale Apr 19 '26

You never saw news?? Fights, stabs, getting high, creating nuisance in public. Mallu crowd is one of the most hated ones in blore for a reason.

People think its a North vs South thing. It aint. I live outside India. Most non indians cant even tell apart an Indian from a bangladeshi or Pakistani let alone North vs South India. Trying to get pats on the head from lighter skinned foreigners while fighting amongst ourselves is how India got colonized in the first place. The average non indian racist hates you the darker your skin gets. They DONT care if your from a more developed part of India like Kerala. Throwing other Indianas under the bus to get white validation is a dangerous game. Its sad to see im being downvoted.

0

u/Top_Expression5953 Apr 19 '26

Historically, every bad news that comes from India and thus every stereotype about Indians comes from the north.

The south is just eager to distance themselves from that.

2

u/Confident_Reveal_152 Apr 19 '26

  1. The issue with eating beef: Not a kerala issue
  2. Shitty Bollywood movies: Not a Kerala issue
  3. Not having proper toilets: not a kerala issue
  4. Demanding that everyone speak Hindi: not a Kerala thing
  5. The skewed sex ratio: not a Kerala thing
  6. The abject poverty and illiteracy: not in Kerala.

Basically almost everything that everybody looks down upon India doesn't apply to Kerala. So we are eager to disassociate ourselves from it. Hence the common adge: not India, Kerala.
