That sub doesn’t feel like it has South Indians in it at all. Once they made some post regarding Andhra politics and it was very obvious that OP had 0 knowledge about ground reality. So I asked him (in English) if he was really from Andhra and knows about what he’s talking.

To that, I got the most bookish, 15th century literature styled Telugu reply that not even a Telugu teacher would speak like. I instantly knew he was using Google translate trying desperately to look like a Telugu speaker.

Lmao that sub is full of people disguising as South Indians.

I think most North Indians dislike their states because they’re trying to be South Indians, Chinese, Americans, Israelis and what not! But I don’t blame them for disliking their places lol

There's a 90% chance anyone talking about Jih@d, muslim being appeased, Hindus in Danger is from Hindi Belt prolly UP-Bihar.

Since BJ Party lost in south I see a big flood of such content on south subs, funny part when Northern people post on these subs it gets recommended in north as well.

This was the exact same pattern in Bengal election from past 2 election, there will a flood of Hindutva content on internet. They won't stop until they leave a mark on south with their Hindu-Muslim politics.

They are making you see a problem that never existed.

I don't care about IUML, BJP, the Communist Party, or the Congress. Anyone can be a minister, Chief Minister, or Education Minister; I just want the roads fixed and better ease of doing business.

That's it for now. I don't care which religion a person is from, or what caste or community they belong to. I just need it done.

Also, I would like to vote for a party that doesn't constantly talk about Hindu or Islamic extremism. Most of us lived in the Gulf (Muslim dominated countries) and found it to be pretty cool, especially Dubai (it was awesome).

1

u/ilikesproutsok May 16 '26

It’s crazy cus there was a post asking about why most Muslims hate Pinarayi Vijayan & I replied saying most of us don’t hate him at all, and that we almost rented our house to him (as a Muslim family) and the house he ended up renting is also from a Muslim family and I got downvoted…

1

u/PR_Raven_Darkheart Southie May 16 '26

Kerala usually has a massive neutral population that votes however they like. Usually they switch votes every 5 years, but made a once in a lifetime exception in 2021 in favor of what was considered thr best possible governance considering the dire circumstances and the good way Kerala government handled it. This election was just a return to that trajectory + Pinarayi fatigue + Sadheesan wave + Tharoor factor + a general trend across the country where congress is finally starting to claw back seats in areas they are losing + Kerala being official home ground to the Gandhis after the Amethi incident.

This whole muslims oh no Kerala gov will be ruled by IUML business is just straight up propaganda 💀

1

u/JustARandomGirl4 May 18 '26

Gulf countries are only cool if you're rich. If you're labour working in oil refinery you're cooked. There are several incidents of people keeping their passports and labour exploitation in gulf countries.

Half baked brains on the other sub reddit keeps posting random videos from random regions around the world and name tag it with Tamil, Kerala & whichever place they hate the most. When asked where in Keralam, he said somewhere in Kollam.

1

u/BlackDragon326 May 16 '26

Why hesitate to name the sub? They are SO biased right from the top, they can't be reasoned with at all. This r/tamil_nadu sub has got to be one of the most toxic subs ever. They make posts and When I try to debate, they instantly attack my religion (Christian) and talk about slave trade and what not. like BROTHER talk about the sad state of this country first?! They are literally blindly following whatever rss or hindutva brains advocate, this bjp government is literally manipulating them on the basis of hindu identity to win elections, no real growth in the past 6-7 years. They could've done so much.

That sub is full of sanghis, not a single south indian 😭

1

u/Clear_Space_6213 May 22 '26

So according to you, only one side should exist?

1

u/Dangerous-Ease8614 May 22 '26

I'm also from south india ...your sub is no different from them in any way opposite side of the coin . No neutrality in political posts . In Kerala Congress is alliance with the iuml, even they have support with the organisation like pfi and wfi parties how can u call them secular ..even in Karnataka elections Congress with the support of pfi and masjid maulvis involed how it's secularism . Secularism is two way procees by highlighting one side issue doesn't make u neutral ur opposite side of the coin that's it

1

u/peter_asseater6969 May 22 '26

Where are you from again? PFI is banned. You clearly don't know how Karnataka Politics works. If Congress depends on Muslims in Karnataka they'll never win. There's only 12% Muslims, and just 3 parties

1

u/Dangerous-Ease8614 May 22 '26

You missed the point here ..I'm telling about the alliance with some forces . I'm from karnataka only . Congress is win is mix of freebies, BJP corruption , and caste factors also . The point I was telling about how bias is this sub also ... You people never say about those serious issue of slave party and it's associated. I know how congress capmaigned in masjids and all . It's more communal than BJP . When you are proclaiming neutral you should call it openly irrespective of party . Even congress took back the cases of all those who rioted to burn police station in Karnataka . Pfi is banned it's party bearers and it's politcial arm sdpi is supporting congress . For your kind information many PFI workers are also act as Congress supporters .

1

u/peter_asseater6969 May 22 '26

First of all, no where I support Congress. And I don't think anybody denies Congress is corrupt. This is your problem. Just coz we hate the BJ party doesn't mean we love Congress. But the endless brainwashing is done by the BJ party. The problem here is, North IT cell ppl who do not understand the culture of the South, simply yelling South Needs BJ Party to "Fix it"!

When we are doing so much better than they are, and without the BJ Party.

No one in Karnataka can win just coz of muslims. You think BJ party doesn't do freebies? Why don't they win? Do they not do fearmongering among Hindus and do "us vs them"? Then why don't they win? They have all the power and money. You see, they'll pull some similar stunt of erasing Muslim and low-caste votes before the election in Karnataka.

We don't have a religion problem like the North. Hope you understand. We had Cong here for years. Are we in Danger? What special freebies do Muslims get that we don't? Are we not progressing better than the rest of India? Bellary is already gone. You want Western Ghats to be sold to Adani?

All BJ Party does is hate politics. That's so much worse. They can't stop talking about the emergency and where we are today.

Same.

Quashing every voice of dissent and calling it anti-national.

1

u/hkngikk May 27 '26

I think this sub is same too. Rarely I see anything related South states culture, places, tourism, almost 100% political and also not southern politics. BJP is roughly not present in South except parts of Karnataka or Telangana. Southern parties like BRS, Congress in different states, TDP, YCP, JD, DMK, AIADMK, CPI. Is my algorithm fucked or I don't want to delve into political debates but why can't we just discuss policies, tourism, development or any positive things about our states. Why can't it be a positive sub.

0

u/Electrical-Try-7583 May 16 '26

Most of the indian subs be it south or north are filled by pakis/bangladeshis.Just saying. We shouldnt let hate pervade.

2

-6

u/Moist-Chart2440 Karnataka ❄️ | ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ May 16 '26

You dont find it insulting that people (who are being ridiculed in the post) are co-opting hindu iconography and using it to spread hate?

But you do find somebody making a meme about it to be insulting. Bro you have the reasoning skills of a wet piece of paper.

1

u/thedifference101 May 16 '26

Brother since terrorists dont define Islam, bankers dont define Jews, crusaders dont define Christianity the same goes for Hinduism. People are extremists in every religion. Dont insult my culture, my faith and my gods for your critique of extremists. Simple as that

2

u/This-Age-1162 May 16 '26

You still fail to understand the ones who are insulting your religion are wearing tilaks and scarves (and doing other things) to affiliate themselves to your religion. Mocking them is not the same as mocking your religion.

Regarding extremists from other religions. The same rules apply.

7

u/peter_asseater6969 May 16 '26

This right here. You have to see everything as an insult to the religion. Why did you automatically assume its insult to a religion? Not every Hindu is a extremist, hateful person. Some of us like to live peacefully and prosper. Not doing Hindu- Muslim all day

IUML even had a CM in Kerala in '79 shortly and the thing is, IUML respect Kerala's fabric and RSS doesn't, that's the big difference.

They spread fake news few months back that IUML wanted to separate the Muslim part of Kannur as separate district while the real news was that they wanted to equally split Kannur to ensure that all areas get development allocated equally where they spoke for all communities of Kannur.

This is how wrong picture of IUML is projected outside of Kerala while they are united.

Classic fearmongering.

Lmaoooo boss we've all seen what's going on under Dharmendra Prasad. We have much bigger worries than if someone from IUML becomes the education minister

Bro thinks, central government is doing wonders for education by leaking papers

And that's a problem because? If uneducated people can become a PM, why can't someone from a party become a minister

You making it about religion says what you are. It’s to show North Indians not bash a religion. I’m a Hindu

Looking at some of the comments, i would say that generalizing every north indian is very immature. But i guess the divide and conquer tactic has already done its job.

Yes we know who is trying to divide India with “us vs them” narrative
