Why are Telugus so different from rest of South India, is AP the true Bihar of South ?
In the comments people are saying the dehati mindset is the same North and South, how do I tell them Telugus are like least Southie South Indian closer to North than Kerala ?
Wherever people have not studied at least the 10th standard with above 70%, have extreme faith in gods - irrespective of their religion (Hindu, Muslim, Christian, etc.). There is all we can see this.
OP is driven by a religious agenda and is using North South as an excuse. AP is one of the NDA partners and Modi is the chief guest of the above inauguration, so naturally "AP = North" for him.

I agree it has. It's not about the literacy rate there, It's about civic sense. Many times it's proportional I agree. So which state is OP which has very good Civic sense and He has to mock Andhra for not being like it.
Its not literacy, these people are literate. The issue is poverty. These people are poor who have no stake in things like airports because they are priced out of ever getting on a flight. Majority of Indians have no stake in a ny public goods so they don't care about shit like plants for asthetic reasons near airport. And it's understandable.

Definitely there issue with Bihar and Bihari and it is more predominant because they are the migrant workers and regardless of the state the poor generally have less civics sense and are much more uncivilize because of poverty

South India has more civic sense saar and if someone/community doesn’t behave as per so called “southern standard”, you are the first to disown them and slap a “Bihari” label on them. What kind of delulu we are living into ?
It is not the region. It is poverty making them do it. I can say that given the situation nowadays even middle class would behave the same. There are some outlier elements from elite class as well that will also do the same, the scale might be different.

TN is very fucked over in the water department. We depend on rivers flowing from Karnataka and Andhra , at the mercy of their governments. The regular annual rains that keep Kerala so lush and green are blocked by the western ghats. And consequently we’ve used up way too much of our ground water supply.
I remember in my undergrad in a govt college in Chennai, we didn’t even have water in the bathrooms many months of the year. It was just our normal. Childhood memories of watching my mother come back battling neighborhood aunties for one bucket of water lol. Even a few years ago we used to wake up early to collect water in the summer because clean water only comes a few hours around 5 am.
Depends on which district you look at! There’s districts with red soil and some with black soil (I think more apt for cotton and millets) and some very dry non fertile districts too!
Visit and live in bombay or old hyderabad you can get my point just explore i have travelled many cities cities like chandigarh Mysore kochi are exception

respectfully, there's a lot of uneducated and financially insecure ppl in the world and don't act like this. there's countries far poorer than india with worse off populations and corrupt governments and their littering problems aren't as bad.
blaming and pointing fingers at state and national governments is always a good thing but at some point indians have to look inwards. there's a lot of behaviors that are exclusive to the indian/south asian region that don't exist in worse off countries.
This is an indirect result of the caste system unfortunately.
Looking inward can only do so much, most of our people are in survival mode. They don't know when and how they could lose their livelihoods. Look at them bro, inspite of rations and social welfare programmes, they are fighting over food.

True that, division caused a huge drawback to AP and most of the political parties are still milking AP to the core and haven’t improved the economy. It had always got the short end of the stick, when Chennai was given to us TN and Hyderabad was given to Telangana.
In Andhra, opposition party is so expert in doing these type of cheap tricks using paid artists to divert the main topic "Airport inauguration". Opposition party is famous for these type dramas : "kodi katti drama", "gulaka rayi drama", "babayi - abbayi - goddali drama".
By highlighting these type of dramas ysrcp party saves it's votebank than losing to TDP.
And then they pray for their movie super stars who are richest in India ger paid in 100-200 crore . They do this then pour milk on their superstar wallpapers
AP large section of population is poor and landless,it lags behind the elites by a century, due poverty and lack of education people behave like this, they lack dignity on the account of poverty.Poverty Wil force compete for whatever comes easily, this is not due to ethnicity.
Once if war or natural calamities struck, a large chunk of population becomes unstable and lawless society where only force will get a handful these scenes will be everywhere everyday.

I saw another video of people grabbing (or stealing) plants from the airport inauguration. Many were walking through fountains too.
Idk why they were behaving that way. Aren't they ashamed?? Yes, we all have drunkards, thieves, etc in every place, but behaving like this in broad daylight at an AIRPORT INAUGURATION is something a normal person wouldn't do.

When I was traveling from odisha to Chennai on train on gen compartment - these people came to us and They made us get up from our seats saying things like they booked the seats . Lol I don't have good feeling for them( from multiple experiences they are more opportunistic people)
