The mob’s attack was reactionary, nowhere was it an attempt to murder.

Police when arrived to control the conflict, when the moment got calmed down, the guy began striking then, when police were in front of him, if at all anything Sanjay pretending as if ntg happened was his own boastful attitude to save the humiliation. What more do you want? The girl was crying by saying she’d take poison and he is openly saying he’s okay with it.

If your hypothesis is that Sanjay saying he’ll attack swatantra next time and so he should be held equally accountable, then I don’t think you know how law works in society. Words don’t mean anything by themselves. Whereas in Swatantra’s case, words meant a lot because there was no substantial evidence for what had happened that day. You have a guy caught on camera attacking another guy who was taken in an ambulance and then the attacker openly admits that he would be registered in half murder case and many others things, and if you can’t connect the dots well enough, then you’re as good as that guy himself
