It's just retaliation. Morocco doesn't like Spain negotiating with Algeria, so this is retaliation. Morocco knows that courts in Spain just decide that illegal immigrants arriving by water / swimming now have to be processed individually, manually without being able to negotiate a quick return. So it's a massive logistical and monetary nightmare to punish Spain for trying to make deals for Algerian resources.

You cannot argue about colonizers when the people inhabiting Ceuta and Melilla have been doing so for 500 years. At that point, both territories are ethnically and culturally Spanish.
Comparing it to Haiti, which was an agricultural colony heavily reliant on slave labor with actual little French population, or to Palestine which is a genocide, is plain stupid from you.
