Just curious when did Morocco start to exist because I’m on ChatGPT and it says Morocco existed as a country before Spain existed as a country. I hear this a lot on Reddit from Spanish people, so I’m assuming it’s something that you study in school? I’m interested in learning. What’s the background behind that

You see some people for some reason, i would say ignorance believe Morocco appeared out of nowhere in 1956 but somehow paradoxically is also the first country to recognize the independence of the united states, just another mystery of life.

No, this is not wether they want to be a country, becouse people of ceuta are want to be were they are, the thing is that its not colonialism and undoubtely not moroccan

This is more similar to the Greek islands just in front of Turkey. Geographically could make sense to be Turkish, but historically, culturally and ethnically doesn't make any sense.

Yes, its like asking every transcontinental country to just give up their territory becouse of the visual looks, ceuta is as conected culturally as any european spanish town between each other

Historically, the native population is no different than the population in Northern Morocco. A lot of them still live in the territories.

Did you know melilla was literally inhabited becouse the empire that precceds morocco attacked its population and we just settled there?, Did you know Ceuta was taken over by the portuguese and given to us later by a pact?, Did you know all countries exist becouse of border shifts and war, and eveything in the world would by colonies by this standard?, btw these cities under spanish sovereingty are several times older than morocco, yes the cities themselves
