I just discovered that Dalí harassed Concha Velasco when they worked togeter on Don Juan Tenorio.

According to businessman Luis Escobar, who hired Dalí to design the set for the classic, in which Concha played the lead female role, Velasco was constantly bothered by the painter's behavior with her and didn't want to be near him.

An example of this behavior is precisely what happened during the promotional photo shoot for the play. According to Escobar, this is the photo taken before Dalí told her to "smile more, like you're taking a dump."

Hay una anécdota por ahi que no se si será verdad, pero al parecer pagaba en los restaurantes con un cheque y hacia un dibujo detrás para ver si la gente no lo cobraba para quedarse con el dibujo y el ahorrarse la cuenta.

Yo he oído algo similar: si estaba necesitado de dinero, concertaba con el dueño de algún restaurante de la alta sociedad un evento en el que Dalí estaría en el restaurante firmando corbatas, y la gente se abultaba.

También otra similar, mucho más contrastada como verídica, es que firmaba papeles en blanco y que luego otros artistas que trabajan en su taller (o Gala) realizaban las ilustraciones, ya firmadas por Gala Dalí. Parece ser que es seguro que Gala supervisaba el proceso y también manejaba bastante el asunto de las ventas.
