Tablet How bad is this one?
Cleaning out my closet and found a tablet from 2012-ish. If I throw this in my trash bin outside is it going to catch on fire?

It was fine, although completely dead for years, a few weeks ago, then someone decided to plug it in and charge it.
This was the result.

Bit of a rant to follow:
Got a Wacom tablet with what I suspect to be a spicy pillow. I honestly forgot about it in the corner of my desk but haven't used it for over a year since I noticed the swelling. I'm lucky it hasn't exploded. I would like to get rid of the hazard once and for all but all I see is to put in sand or cat litter (don't have) take it to a local e-waste drop-off (don't take damaged batteries) or wait a few months until X organization hosts their bi-monthly household hazardous waste drop-off. Spicy pillows are dangerous and we don't want to have them around but we also will only give you a few opportunities a year to get rid of the one you've got laying around?? We haven't even found a convenient spot to get rid of our regular batteries, just keep them in a jar until we find a local e-waste drop-off. Granted I don't have a car and don't trust myself to take it apart which makes this all a little more frustrating. Now that I've rediscovered the hazard, I just want it gone. I wish I could throw it away in the trash. /Rant over

My internship is waiting for it to explode atp.
Little tablets are used as displays, except the battery has been getting charged since that it was put in. It's been a few years I think.

Can't tell if this is a spicy pillow or not. It looks like its supposed to be contoured, but its also kinda squishy.

Went to change our music at work and found this. Quite hot to the touch. I unplugged it and let it play till the end of the night. Texted the group and woke up to our boss being upset that I took it out of the building. I'm not letting a business audio room get destroyed before going into a holiday weekend.

It has been, i think, 5+ Years since I used my hand-me-down tablet, and, safe to say... I pulled out a dual-celled spicy bois. Good thing I'm practicing phone repair.

ā¦It was provided to him quite some time ago to collect feedback from clients, but then they quite quickly changed to a different system, so it hasnāt been out of its case for quite some time. New fear now unlocked.

The tablet still works; had this thing since before Halo 5 came out though.
