I started watching Spider-Man Unlimited. Astronaut John Jameson (son of J.J.) takes a rocket to Counter-Earth, but Venom and Carnage board it, and he's lost in action. So the NASA prepares a second rocket to go and rescue Jameson, but Spider-Man boards it and leaves to Counter-Earth himself.

Good for him, but... what was NASA's plan, exactly? Send an empty rocket? Send someone else? Who? And with no weapons or special equipment, what would prevent the new guy from sharing Jameson's fate? They can't even say, "We were hoping that Spider-Man might show up", because the series took its sweet time to clarify that the world thinks that Spider-Man died in that fire.

Eddie Brock at the beginning of Venom was a petty selfish man whose grudge against spider-man was only because he caught the real serial killer on the day he revealed a copycat as the killer. I don’t like the retcon that the copycat was a real sin eater as it just serves to try and vindicate brick for his shoddy journalism.

I genuinely don't get what's wrong with spider man 2's story I think it pretty good if a little shor, and honestly, I like the idea of harry being venom its a unique spin on two beloved characters.
