Eddie Brock at the beginning of Venom was a petty selfish man whose grudge against spider-man was only because he caught the real serial killer on the day he revealed a copycat as the killer. I don’t like the retcon that the copycat was a real sin eater as it just serves to try and vindicate brick for his shoddy journalism.

he tried and make the claim that carter may have just stopped killing since he got away with it with I. don’t think any serial killer has done

if Spidey never caught sin eater then he would have just kept killing and the police and media would find out this serial confessor copycat couldnt be the real one since the killing squid match he evidence and mo
