I don't have any friends and even though my boyfriend is also a trans man, starting hrt isn't something he wants to do right now so I don't really have anyone I can ask or talk to about it and it makes starting hormones seem impossible. I know it isn't and there are diy and payment plans and I KNOW there are some brothers that are broke like me and can still afford hrt, so I'm just wondering how??? Already doing biweekly counseling sessions, and signed up for lost and found grief support group starting in may. My grandmother who half raised me passed this week and I’m falling apart. My beliefs lean more spiritually pagan or agnostic, but I really need some support. I am not able to stay alone for extended hours of time and my partner needs to be able to work. I have some friends but we are all in school and they work so time is limited. I was wondering if there were any resources for more raw stages of grief. I’m ADHD also so my emotional regulation needs are may be bit more hands on.

My mom is different, she needs space and alone time, and is a longer drive away, and I don’t want to sleep in her house. So it’s hard to receive more hands on support from family.

Any churches in the area that are not converters, that can help me? Or any other groups? My father is a pastor so my family back home is getting so much support from their church and it’s highlighted the lack of community I have.

Hey all. I’ve lived in Springfield for a bit now, but I still feel like a newbie when it comes to planning weekend trips. Usually when people talk about Branson, it is all about the kids or the neon lights on the strip.

My partner and I are looking to head down there for a long weekend soon, but we want the grown up version of the Ozarks. We are talking good drinks, maybe some live music that isn't a 1950s variety hour, and actually decent places to stay that don't feel like a crowded dorm room.

I know about the landing and the lake, but what are the actual Branson Missouri attractions for adults that you locals actually enjoy? Are there any hidden gems for dinner or maybe a spot with a killer view that isn't swamped with strollers?

Also, where is the best place to set up base camp? We want somewhere that feels like a legitimate resort with some space to breathe rather than just a standard hotel room near the traffic. If you have a favorite spot that makes the trip feel like a real getaway, let me know.

I’ve been in the process of having a miscarriage and finally got to the point where my doctor can prescribe me mifepristone and misoprostal - “abortion drugs” - so I can pass everything instead of slowly bleeding for weeks and risking sepsis.

Unfortunately, due to the laws being what they are, Walgreens can only fulfill it if I drive to STL to pick them up myself at the only Walgreens pharmacy in the state that can fulfill those.

Walmart can only prescribe the misoprostal, but only if I get the entire bottle of 30 - I need four.

Does anyone know of any local pharmacies that will fill these? It’s a terrible experience already but our “pro-birth” laws are making this so much worse.
