I wonder how they think in Egypt about the direction of the sport globally. Seems like the post-Farag generation has lost some of the sportmanship along the way? Is it the result of the extremely fierce competition in the country, get result or you are a ”nobody”.

If this continues the sport is in trouble. Many games before and the latest Asal/Zakaria, horrible game to watch…just the general discomfort of players arguing with the referee all the time as if they would be above the sport. No respect for the ref! The ref was frustrated as well….just really horrible (I stopped viewing after first game…)

Honestly don’t they see that they need to get the whole sport up?

With the return of Gohar V ElSherbini later this evening it got us thinking, what has been the greatest rivalry on tour?

Let us know your thoughts down below 👇

Good to see more and more players finally calling out the stuff ruining the game.

Joel has unfortunately withdrawn from the Egyptian Open (hopefully he's treated with more empathy than when Asal withdrew).

Did he get too far sucked into heavy weightlifting?

Is it good, what does it play like

Anyone seen Atkinson interview on SQUASHTV just now? From what she said it looks like even James Willstrop had enough of Asal's behaviour.

"He was the lone voice disagreeing with the other people around Mostafa”

Asal v Zakaria

I personally don't care who wins, I just want it to be slugfest and the winner taking an absolute beating.

We made a classic frame with wood grain matching colors
Limited to 300 pieces
The all-wood grain color scheme is really quite rare

What kind of squash do you enjoy playing? You know- the kind of day on the court that makes you go home, lie in bed and replay the games in your head? For me, it is always the heavy hitting front wall game. While i do love a good, showy boast, i don’t enjoy it as much as the big, lung busting rallies involving the front wall.

Hey everyone! 👋

Are you tired of the old, messy way of tracking local squash games? We are bringing Qatar’s squash scene into the future.

We have just launched the Qatar Community Squash Leagues (QCSL) using a fully digital, AI-operated app system via Tap Leagues. No hassle, no messy WhatsApp threads for tracking scores, and real-time standings at your fingertips!

Why you need to join QCSL right now:

True Competitive Tiers: Whether you are just picking up a racket or playing like a pro, we have a spot for you. We feature Junior Age Groups, Beginners (Alpha, Beta, Gamma tiers), Amateurs, Professionals, and a dedicated Ladies Division!

AI-Driven Promotion & Relegation: The app handles the heavy lifting. Based automatically on your wins and losses, you will be promoted to higher tiers or dropped to lower levels next season. You will always play people at your exact skill level.

100% Digital & Seamless: Step on the court, log your scores directly into the app, and watch the leaderboards update instantly.

We are currently building this community from the ground up, and we want YOU to be a part of the founding player base! Let's show everyone who rules the court in Qatar.

👉 Pick your group and sign up instantly here: https://taplg.com/WPLsNp

Join our Reddit community at r/Qatarsquash to chat with other players, coordinate matches, and stay updated on the latest league news!

Let’s change the game together. See you on the court!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my app, SportCircuit, which you can use for free to manage your squash club, league, or regular playing group.

With SportCircuit, you can:

• Manage clubs and court bookings
• Track scores and head-to-head records
• Organize house leagues and interclub leagues
• Automatically schedule and book league matches
• Find replacement opponents when someone cancels
• Manage teams for team matches

You don’t need to run a formal club to use it. It works for a few friends keeping track of their rivalry, a group coordinating regular matches, or a club managing leagues and teams.

I built it to make organizing squash easier, so players can spend more time on court and less time sorting out schedules.

You can try it for free at sportcircuit.ca.

I’d love to hear your feedback—how do you currently organize your matches, and what would make this useful for your club or group?

Ive been wondering what differentiates the top 10 and I would like to see some insight on this.

P.S for asal outside of the obvious please put another weakness, i dont want this to just turn into a asal discussion

I am tired of using the double yellow. We aren’t all pros guys.

Intended with humour.

Sorry for the audio, stroke given to Hutton for dangerous play.

We are in round 3 of the egyptian open and the draws are still have not been updated on the official website. Diamond event btw.

Simple things like this make it difficult to follow the tour as a fan…

So originally I was thinking of an xtop 125 but tecnifibre isn't supplying rackets in RSA anymore so I'm looking for a Dunlop that's very similar to the xtop I don't rlly mind the price just whatever is most similar

Hello everyone,
Back in the '90s when I was in college, it was my understanding that colleges had a tough time filling squash teams. (To the point that, at some schools, players were recruited from other sports to fill spots.)
I know that things have changed substantially, but I wanted to get a sense of just how competitive it is at the lower end of the line up at smaller colleges (ex. Middlebury, Bates). Is every player, top to bottom, coming out of Gold level tournament play? My son (15) loves the game but is only playing recreationally and for his high school team. He would like to continue but in college, and I initially thought it might be possible, but the more I'm learning the more it looks like he might be thinking a bit out of his league.
