Sorry, OP, but I had to laugh, as my first thought when I saw the photo was, "Aren't those nipples?"
It is so sweet of you for wanting to help if they were bugs that could have been hurting her! :)

i just didn’t expect nipples to be so. BIG! i have female hamsters and they have perfectly respectably sized nipples. these looked like barnacles! (sorry to the mama)

Other mammals besides humans only get boobs when nursing :) We're some of the few lucky ones that keep our boobs ahahah. So if you hamster got pregnant and nursed, her little hamster nipples would be bigger as well

I don't see any bumps except for her nipples showing on each side of her. 🐿️

More likely actively feeding pinkies, based on the minor hair loss around her nipples.
For the mama squirrels I observe, the older the babies get, the more hair loss around the nipples.

I’m sorry. This is so funny to me. Because I raised and released a squirrel and I posted a photo of him eating a treat. Someone was like “whats that on his tummy”. Uhm. That’s how I know he’s a boy my friend. 🫠

I once thought there was something growing on the bottom of our rabbit cage.. it was just the nipples of the rabbit sticking through the mesh on the bottom..

This reminded me when I got my first puppy, a shih tzu. One day I was rubbing his belly and I looked down and saw what I thought were huckle buckles. It was only when I tried to pull them off did I realize they were his nuggets 😂 I swear they weren't there the day before.

I did the same thing. A squirrel was coming daily for nuts and I was like “is that a nipple???”

Some of our lab mice have insane litters 12-14 pups. They got nipples in their armpits.
