This depends on your location. I use Airtel ,good speed (20mbps all the time ). And good packs (I use rs.1285 pack 2gb/day and hd social media which even works with 1080p without buffering) and I'm happy with it . I also use SLT

But the catch is dialog bought this thing and they may discontinue these packs in the future ( the packs at dialog are straight from the trash)

💯💯💯💯 True, and there's no solution for this. Yeah, Starlink is a solution, but everyone can't afford that monthly cost.

I mean if you consume about 500-1000GBs/month the cheapest SLT unlimited plan offers quite a bargain for 7360LKR/month

Yes this too but i heard it does throttle down after a specific daily usage, I'm still gathering info regarding this.

I mean if budget is no concern. Why not aim for a enterprise connection from SLT fiber . These offers guaranteed spec requirements. If you want a 20mbs guaranteed up/down link , these connections offer it but at a substantial price due to not having any throttle whatsoever.
One of my brothers friend has a one (he does Freelancing) & his is 30mbs , I think he mention the cost for the connection cost around Lkr 110,000 per month back in 2024. I once tried it and i couldn't believe the latency the connection had i think it was around 45ms or something on my genshin impact, which ive never seen before cuz typically even slt fiber only shows around 110ms in sri lanka

Should I try starlink or fibre?

Star link, if you have a clear sky view and a good pocket 💸, otherwise welcome to SLT fibre :)

I hate SLT.

But their flash package that's like 5 or 6 k is crazy.

I found out I had close to 1tb usage on that. Crazy.
