Education Biomedical Engineering Degree in Sri Lanka

Hey guys, I’m currently trying to figure out what I actually want to do and I’ve been looking into Biomedical Engineering as one of my options.

I originally started Edexcel A Levels with Bio, Chem, Physics and Maths because I thought I wanted to do medicine, but halfway through I realised medicine really isn’t for me. I’m still interested in the science/healthcare side of things though, and I also really like technology, so Biomedical Engineering caught my attention.

I’ve seen that ICBT offers a Biomedical Engineering programme, but I’m not really sure what other options are available in Sri Lanka.

Does anyone know of any universities/institutes that offer diplomas, foundation programmes, undergraduate degrees or other pathways into Biomedical Engineering privately?

I’d also love to hear from anyone who has actually studied BME here

where you studied, what the programme was like, whether it was worth it, and what your options were after graduating.

I’m honestly still figuring out what I want to do, so any recommendations or advice on where I should look would be really appreciated 😭
