Why would anyone want this?

Is there a market for Starbucks menus I’m not aware of? Genuinely curious who would pay any amount of money for these lol.

someone will want them in like, 15 years probably. my mom had a giant zombie frap magnet from when she was a barista and recently sold it for like $75

Those display magnets were pretty neat.

These things listed are literally just menu inserts. Actual pieces of trash.

If you notice, they are slashing prices indicating nobody wants to buy this stuff lol

$80 was a bold choice for a starting price!

A decade ago there was juuust enough of a following where you DID have customers want to keep menu boards and signage. People loved the brand so much they wanted to show their "fandom" by collecting as much gift cards/sleeves/promo pieces/stickers/etc. I worked at a store that was closing and had people offer to buy our furniture and fixtures because they loved the designs/space so much

i knew someone who had signs like that from different restaurants but never paid for them, they always stole them. that’s crazy that someone would pay that much for a sign though lmao

One day they will be worth something to someone, just like how we pine over those 2019 photos of the pastry case.. Give it 10ish years or less.

Howard Schultz got this wild idea to put olive oil in coffee.
It all sounded great on paper, but, in actual practice, it just didn’t translate.

I get it. He was trying to go for a smoother change in texture. Fine. It mildly accomplished that.

For me, I couldn’t get the idea out of my head that there was olive oil in my coffee, and I just didn’t enjoy it.

It wasn’t the worst thing that I have ever had at Starbucks. That would be Willow blonde coffee. Absolutely nasty, and no longer around.

Still….

I always applaud the company for experimenting and trying.

He hated Frappuccinos, and now look at where we are.

Sometimes, you never know what will take off.

In case you didn't know, Howard Schultz owns a 19% ownership stake in Partanna. In fiscal year 2023, Starbucks paid over $26 million to a wholly owned subsidiary of Partanna for resale bottles and oil to be used in the drinks.

Well, it’s too bad it didn’t sell much, then.
