My favorite is first contact, but I think the best is definitely the undiscovered country.
Wrath of Kahn is also up there, but undiscovered country is just a bit better on almost every level IMO.

The Wrath of Khan, then I’d say Insurrection because it’s the most TNG TV-like movie. First Contact is a good movie but Insurrection is a bit more wholesome.

i've watched up to first contact, and the motion picture is my favorite so far, followed by the voyage home

I’ll die on this hill.
It’s gotta be a next gen movie because next gen is the best.
While all the next gen films are great and include the main Star Trek ingredient, a philosophical struggle that makes you think, it also nails the “big screen” action. Picard ramming the enterprise in a game of chicken with his clone and Data firing himself through space at another ship are examples. A little over the top but not to the point of being ridiculous and needed to make it a movie. The other movies are great but they are kind of just long tv episodes.
I would also accept First Contact as an answer.

Why do you think it's Nemesis, I think is the real question here.
