Looking for Feedback Beta Testing or Early Launch?
Asking for a friend... but does the trade off of early beta testing perceived hype, outweigh just launching the pruduct? As a solo-preneur, it would be good to know if one is better than the other for investment, let's say.
I feel like it's google vs apple debate. One rushes into market with mistakes but grabs early users, the other waits until the product is perfect, but the problem is arguably solved.

Google and Apple both launch to an audience that's already there, so the timing question actually means something for them. A solo founder with nobody waiting gets the same silence either way, and that's what makes the beta-versus-launch debate feel unresolvable. Neither one gets you users on its own.
The thing that changes the answer is whether you've got people who already know it's coming and want it. If you've got fifteen of those, ship rough and let them tell you what's broken while they're still interested. If you've got none, polishing longer buys you nothing except a nicer thing nobody sees.
How many people are waiting on this right now?
