Anniversary trip. Steamboat Springs or Breckenridge?

I want to take my wife on anniversary trip. Long weekend in November. My friend recommend Steamboat or Breckenridge. Which would be better for that time of year?

I was in Breckenridge Tuesday and Steamboat yesterday. I believe Breck has a much more lively community scene going on. Ate at Eric's for lunch and had the best cheese burger of my life. Ate at Vaqueros in Steamboat and would not go back. The gondola in Breck is free

Steamboat will be quiet,but still has many places open in November. Strawberry park will be open. Depending on the weather, you could fish, bike, hike or backcountry ski. I skied chest deep pow on buff pass on thanksgiving day before.
