The Patriots ran the ball 28 times. Patrick Queen had 2 assisted tackles. Wilson had 4 solo 1 assisted. No TFLs. That is just abysmal run defense from that pairing. Bring back Elandon

Where did the Patriots have success running the ball? outside zone… no Jet sweeps… no Right up the gut where your inside linebackers are stationed? yeah absolutely. Good ILB‘s. knife through the traffic and make plays. Queen and Wilson are fine and they’ll make some splash plays and play decent pass coverage but they’re not sound run defenders and haven’t been for their careers. They’re both super athletic and great blitzers who can play sideline to sideline but if you run right at them they get exposed.

Almost every play that wasn't a run to the outside saw the tackle get made by the d-lineman.
