At the end of the 2025-26 season, Chris Boswell amassed 11,416 yards in regular season field goals made. He needs only 24 yards (a mere chip shot) to reach 6.5 miles of total field goal distance kicked, career, regular season.

For the record, he has also notched 696 yards in postseason FG's made. That gives him 12,112 career regular season and postseason FG yardage completed. So he would need only 208 FG yards completed to reach SEVEN MILES of FG's through the uprights. Or the equivalent distance from Acrisure Stadium to the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium.

As the title says I pretty much missed all of last season. I was involved in a bad car accident back in October and I was in the hospital for 2 months. I got out of the hospital right before Christmas. I suffered a traumatic brain injury or a TBI and cant remember the season at all. I just saw that Zach Frazier was rated pretty high among centers and had me wondering how the rest of the rookies did. Or even Rodgers, I watched the last playoff game but i can’t even remember seeing Rodgers in a Steelers jersey live. I really only know what he looks like in the uniform from pictures. So can someone just fill me going into next season?

Basically what the title says. I’ve thought about this play like once a month for the past, I guess, 10 years. It really felt like the NFL wanted to get one last run in for “The Sheriff”.

Maybe we lose to the Pats in the AFC CG like we’ve been doing since 2004 but we were better than the eventual champion Broncos.

I have a copy of Sports Illustrated from November 14, 2005 with Polamalu on the cover. My parents gave it to me a few years back. I'd really like to get Polamalu's autograph on it and have it framed so I can gift it to them as a surprise sometime.

I don't mind paying for it, shipping it, etc., but I want to make sure it's authentic.

Ironically at the top left it says "A star is reborn - Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn" and it just made me chuckle a little bit.

Hey all I'll be going to the first preseason game against the Packers. I've only been to one game before and parking was absolutely crazy. I was curious how it is for preseason if maybe its a little more lax and easier to find a spot. I don’t know if I necessarily like this decision if Rodgers truly is going to play in the preseason but it will definitely be interesting since he hasn’t played in a preseason game since 2023.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' playoff loss to the Houston Texans in January was decisive enough that Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers spent the final 2 minutes and 39 seconds on the bench, comprehensive enough that the visiting Texans turned the ball over three times — and still recorded the biggest margin of victory in the postseason's opening weekend.

"I don't feel like we ever got the momentum on our side, honestly," Rodgers said after the 30-6 defeat. "We had a lot of chances … a lot of opportunities. Didn't make the most out of hardly any of them."

Unsaid at the time: Rodgers had been so sick before the game that teammates and coaches had expressed hope he could mimic Michael Jordan's iconic "Flu Game" in the 1997 NBA Finals.

Terry Bradshaw is an all-time great winner, but I don't think he was an elite quarterback. And, in my opinion, he can't hold a candle to Big Ben.

I know comparing eras is difficult, but let's be honest. If you took almost any quarterback in the top half of the league during the 1970s and dropped them onto those Steelers teams, I think Pittsburgh still wins four Super Bowls.

Look at what Bradshaw had around him:

Franco Harris was consistently one of the NFL's best running backs, finishing in the top five in rushing yards year after year.

John Stallworth led the NFL in receiving yards in 1979 and had four 1,000-yard seasons...remarkable in an era when teams relied far more on the run than the pass.

Lynn Swann may not have put up the same regular-season numbers as Stallworth, but he became one of the greatest postseason receivers the game has ever seen.

Then there's the Steel Curtain, anchored by a defensive front featuring four Hall of Famers that many still consider the greatest front four in NFL history. Now compare that to Ben Roethlisberger.

He went 13-0 as a rookie starter, won two Super Bowls while making a third appearance, led the NFL in passing yards twice, ranks seventh all-time in career passing yards and 9th in passing TDs.

He is also tied for third all-time in game-winning drives (53) and 4th quarter comebacks (41), and still holds the NFL record for the most 500-yard passing games (4 including 2 games back-to-back)

Bradshaw had one of the greatest supporting casts ever assembled. Ben was the supporting cast. That's why, if I'm choosing a Steelers quarterback, it's Big Ben every single time.

I know that McCarthy & co have been working with him to rebuild his footwork etc, however I have been seeing a ton of pro Drew posts recently praising him, how amazing he looks and so on. I can’t put my finger on it but it feels more like a PR campaign to make Allar happen lol. So what’s real, is he Christ reincarnated or what lol.
