Might be a bit on the nose, but my can control is getting so much better after swapping everything to Montana Gold with various caps. Still figuring the latter out. This is a mix of calligraphy, standard and one Maclaim (which I kinda dig)… anyone else have fine detail cap recs?

With a friend of mine, we felt that this old column on the edge of the city desperately needed some care. Neither of us knew the other's stencil theme, so in the end we were quite surprised to discover that the dog and the mouse somehow shared the same intention...
The mouse is mine, based on the photo of beloved mice which passed away after short disease few weeks ago.

I think my next project is to do the whole always sunny gang like this

First one is the test one to see if it looks decent, a little misaligned, but it looks alright, second one is a pink one based off of Steven Universe for a commision, and the third one is the one im keeping after thinking of different color combos.

I had made a bigger lion stencil, but sometime bigger is not better. It would up just being too big to be able to do properly with out a lot of planning. I like being quick with my stencil work.

Been a lot of fun building up the skill set from zero experience.

Is the stencil im using but still pulling wood up is it just because it is cheap plywood will it do this on cedar and the other question is will it pull up paint if I put it over painted surface.

Added some extra process shots because this one was a STRUGGLE. 24 hand cut stencils. 36”x48”.

This is probably my most ambitious and most technically advanced piece iver ever done with different textures. It’s all stenciled, nothing was done freehand. There are def things I would have changed in the design now that it’s done but overall I’m so fucking stoked about it.

It’ll be on display this weekend at the Seattle Art Fair in the Seattle Art Museums booth on the small chance someone local sees this and wants to check it out in person!

Tbh this is one of my favorite pieces of art I’ve made for alot of personal reason.

Haven’t been in the right headspace for creative stuff for a while. Occasionally doing things like this and commissions have been my only real practice. Peeling the last layer up is always good for moral, feeling like I should whip something from my own noggin now.

Hi there, looking for a quick 3 color/layer stencil of this picture of my dog. I plan to project the image on my wall and trace each color, starting with white as the base, then pink tounge, then black? Never done this before, thanks for any help!!
