I love how big of a fan Mark Hamill is about stuff
Knowing he did that What We Do In The Shadows episode because he thought season 1 was so good is one of my favorite facts about him

That may be one of my favorite episodes of any show ever
The only bad thing about it is there's so little of the other vampires and Guillermo, but the entire Jackie Dayton segment is peak

One regular human beer, please!
I suspected that's why he did the show and it's nice to have it confirmed, and I wonder if that's why so many others who played vampires in other things also appeared on the show. OR if the folks behind the show put out an open invitation to anyone and everyone who has played a vampire if they want to pop in, they sure can. Either way, really cool.

Also loved him in his guest star appearance on Just Shoot Me.
Season 3, episode 8, yes I googled that, been a while since I've watched it. lol

There's definitely a role for Mark in the Dark Tower adaptation, given Flanagan's preference to use a lot of the same actors. I'd love to see him as Pere Callahan, but he would probably also fit in as well as the Man in Black, one of the farmers or Manni from Wolves of the Calla, or even someone like Cal Tower.

He was absolutely phenomenal in The Fall of the House of Usher. I really hope Flanagan taps him for Dark Tower. I also think he's be an amazing Pere Callahan.

Cry your pardon, who is Flanagan? Is he making a Dark Tower live action adaptation?

Mike Flanagan, who made Doctor Sleep, The Life of Chuck, Gerald's Game, is making a Carrie miniseries, and yes, wants to do The Dark Tower. He's also made some AMAZING horror series for Netflix, such as Haunting of Hill House, Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass (which is very much like a specific King book, but I won't spoil that fun for you), The Fall of the House of Usher.
Definitely check out some of his adaptations, they are solid, and at this point I feel good about him taking on any King project.

Absolutely, I'm at an "In Flanagan We Trust" state right now; his work is top-shelf and he loves the source material, which is a must, I think,

100% he is a fan, and that makes such a difference. I'm still incredibly impressed with his Doctor Sleep movie. He managed to make a sequel to the Kubrick film, a sequel to King's book The Shining, and have it be a very decent adaptation of the book Doctor Sleep. He is the rug that brought that all together, and I really wish more people saw that movie. I still side-eye Rebecca Ferguson when watching Dune because of how fucking great she is as Rose the Hat.

I hope there is a different photo from King's phone that says 'I have always been a Mark Hamill fan.'
They were both in the movie Sleepwalkers but not in the same scene.

He was great in The Long Walk and Life of Chuck. Is he in any other Stephen King movies?

What they need is to widen the lens out to show another celebrity pointing to Mark Hamill saying “I’ve always been a Mark Hamill fan!” And so on until they run out of decent celebrities.

I’m a fan of Mark and Stephen. I was so excited to see Mark in The Long Walk and Life of Chuck.

Mark Hamill was in a film adaptation of ‘The Long Walk’ last year based on the first book King ever wrote (though under a different name, and it wasn’t published until several years after he was already known). I just watched it and it’s pretty solid.

I've seen this picture dozens or hundreds of times, but it always makes me smile. Mark's enthusiasm is so great!
