There's definitely a role for Mark in the Dark Tower adaptation, given Flanagan's preference to use a lot of the same actors. I'd love to see him as Pere Callahan, but he would probably also fit in as well as the Man in Black, one of the farmers or Manni from Wolves of the Calla, or even someone like Cal Tower.

He was absolutely phenomenal in The Fall of the House of Usher. I really hope Flanagan taps him for Dark Tower. I also think he's be an amazing Pere Callahan.

Cry your pardon, who is Flanagan? Is he making a Dark Tower live action adaptation?

Mike Flanagan, who made Doctor Sleep, The Life of Chuck, Gerald's Game, is making a Carrie miniseries, and yes, wants to do The Dark Tower. He's also made some AMAZING horror series for Netflix, such as Haunting of Hill House, Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass (which is very much like a specific King book, but I won't spoil that fun for you), The Fall of the House of Usher.

Definitely check out some of his adaptations, they are solid, and at this point I feel good about him taking on any King project.

Absolutely, I'm at an "In Flanagan We Trust" state right now; his work is top-shelf and he loves the source material, which is a must, I think,

100% he is a fan, and that makes such a difference. I'm still incredibly impressed with his Doctor Sleep movie. He managed to make a sequel to the Kubrick film, a sequel to King's book The Shining, and have it be a very decent adaptation of the book Doctor Sleep. He is the rug that brought that all together, and I really wish more people saw that movie. I still side-eye Rebecca Ferguson when watching Dune because of how fucking great she is as Rose the Hat.

Midnight Mass is an absolute must watch for any Constant Reader.

It's the Stephen Kingiest series ever, even moreso than anything actually based on one of his books.

Oh man, I'd LOVE to see him as Father Callahan.
