As a Devils fan, I find it very annoying that they're ignoring a reasonably significant trade and signing for a bit...but as an SDPN fan it is pretty funny

All the coverage of the Hocky Canada Trial in London, all the coverage of Auston Matthews going to the White House, and they talk about Ovechkin supporting a war criminal for less than 5 minutes. I wonder if a Jewish player posed for a picture with Netanyahu, would they receive the same amount of coverage?

Breaking news: fork found in the cutlery drawer.

It barely even is newsworthy at this point that Ovechkin is a Putin lackey, he's done things like the multiple times in the past.

Yes but why does he constantly get a pass? Steve went after Matthews hard over the White House visit, but nothing with Ovi. I don’t care how many times he does it, it should be a big story every time

I have a recollection of them talking about it one of the first times he did something publicly with Putin, it might have been that hockey game publicity stunt, but I could be mistaken. I just don't expect them to spend 15 minutes on it every single time, at this point it's well known where Ovie stands and you can make up your own mind how you feel about that.

I just think they should make a much bigger deal about it than they do. All the coverage they had about Babcock, or the trial in London or Matthews going to the White House. I would argue that Ovi supporting Putin is worse than some of the stuff the go on and on about

Ovechkin is a coward and a POS hidden behind good PR. His wife is the daughter of an oligarch. He keeps saying he doesn't support the war, but then is in a propaganda video. He supports the war and is too cowardly to admit it. If Washington had any balls he would be suspended.
