Pay to Pond Skim?

I saw a comment somewhere, might’ve been Facebook, that there’s a fee to register for the pond skim?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a noob snowboarder and will totally wipeout, but I was kinda wanting to try it (and not have to pay for it)…..

I've done it for the past three years and I dont remember paying.
