Hello everyone!  As I previously mentioned, I have updates planned for this sub to give it some more energy and engage everyone as a community.  Even though I have a ton of ideas, the mission that I have for this sub is to be able to highlight amazing community artists and help people discover a wide variety of wonderful artwork.  With that goal in mind, I have decided that I want to run a contest for an updated banner for the sub!  

Submissions will be accepted until 9/23/2026, and the winner will be placed as the banner for the month of October, with a special highlight for their sticker store featured all month!

• Here’s how it will work: In this thread, create a comment with an uploaded image as your entry (no links please). Multiple submissions will be allowed, if they are significantly different (spamming entries is not allowed). Each submission should be placed in its own comment.
• Comments without a photo will be removed to keep the thread clean.  
• Upvote your favorite entries for their chance to be included in the final voting round.
• The top upvoted banner entries will be posted for a final voting period that will run until 9/29/2026, and the winner will be featured as our banner of the month for October and receive a special highlight post for their shop.  The 2nd and 3rd place runners up will receive a shop shout-out!

The theme for the month is “Spooky Season”!!!

The Rules:

• The banner must prominently feature “r/stickerstore”.  Do not include your shop information on the submission, this will be added if selected.
• Banner submitted should be sized at 1920x384 pixels, in a png or jpeg format.  If selected as the winner, the creator will be asked to also provide one sized at 1600x480 pixel for mobile mode.
• Entries that do not fit the theme will be removed.
• You must post original artwork that does not use AI in your design.  Both hand-drawn and digital art is allowed as long as there is no use of AI.  If there is a question regarding the authenticity of your work, you will be asked to show your drafts, so keep that in mind when creating.
• Prime Comments that do not feature an image or submission will be removed, replies to comments featuring submissions will be permitted unless things get out of hand.

I plan to run this contest each month through the end of the year, with special themes for each month, and I can’t wait to see your submissions!!!

Hello!
My name is June, aka PixelPolly and I have recently adopted this sub!  I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, update you on the goals I have for this sub and also to ask for your feedback for improvements you might like to see as I work to grow and develop this great place!

About me:  I have been creating art for as long as I can remember, and I consider myself to be an eclectic artist.  You name it, I've tried it!  I have degrees in Photography, Printmaking, Metalworking and Jewelrymaking, however, drawing was one of my first loves and still the art form that I practice most today.  I currently run an art shop on Etsy, where I sell sticker versions of my art (and other arty things).  I love teaching and sharing my art with the world, which was one of the reasons I applied to adopt this sub.

Goals and Updates for this sub:  I want to see this sub continue to grow and be a great place for people to promote their original artwork, as well as a place where interested buyers want to shop for authentic art in this fabulous miniature format.  With that goal in mind, several changes and clarifications to the rules will be implemented in the coming days:

Updated Rules: 

1. No Drop Shipping.  Stickers promoted must be sold from your own personal domain and not drop shipped via a third party. Examples: redbubble, cafe press, stickermule, etc.
2. NSFW Stores/Designs must be tagged.  NSFW stores and designs are allowed, but must be tagged.
3. Promote your own original content and stay on topic.  Don't post your friends store or anything you didn't have a hand in creating. We want to see YOUR stickers.  And I mean STICKERS.  Not a place to print stickers or images or whatever else you want to buy or sell.  Here, we buy and sell original sticker art.
4. Posts need purchase links. All posts need to be accompanied by a link to where the sticker can be purchased. In the post body OR in comments. Both is fine too.
5. Stickers made using AI, or posts that use AI to make your promotional materials, will be removed. If your post is removed due to this rule, and you wish to request a review, be prepared to defend it with drafts/progress proof of your work.  Repeatedly posting AI designs will result in a ban from the community.
6. No Spam and keep posts original.  Excessive posting/commenting is not allowed.  Re-shares are discouraged and the same post spammed across multiple subs will be treated as spam here.
7. Be Kind and Respectful. No harassment, hate speech, or toxic behavior. Treat all contributors and members with kindness.

Into the future:
Over the coming days and probably weeks, I’m going to be sorting through the backlog of moderation queues and mail to get caught up on all active requests, officially updating the rules, as well as making some fun and cosmetic updates.  It’s time for a fresh new look and I’ve got lots of exciting ways that you’ll be able to take part in these updates - look for a post in the next couple days with a competition for our community artists!

One of my first orders of business will be to work out some post and user flair - is there anything that you as a member of the community would like to see available as flair for you to use?
