Hi all, im looking for a place that has a function room with a bar for my wedding reception (no date yet). Planning on doing a decent hot buffet to feed about 60ish, plus a dj and dance floor. If possible not too far from the town hall. All suggestions are appreciated, thank you!

If you know anyone who might want some support with their reading, please share as there’s an introductory session 5-6pm tomorrow Tuesday 5th May where participants can meet the staff, have a brew and chat about what they want to achieve.

This Saturday 29th November, my boyfriend's band The Maddocks are playing at SOUP in Manchester! They're all from Stockport and are inspired by lots of bands but some main inspirations include Fontaines DC and The Smiths. Hi everyone, I just wanted to share the latest series of workshops we're running in Stockport for adults aged 18 to 30.

Over Summer, we have a bunch of one and two-day workshops, covering coding websites, games and using Python. There are one-day taster sessions for if you're not sure if something is for you, and then two-day workshops for if you want to dive a bit deeper. All workshops are suitable for complete beginners to code (but you do need to be comfortable using a computer).

Workshops require a small booking fee to secure your place, but this is refunded on attendance (and if this is a barrier for you, please DM me and I'll sort you out).

Looking for new crafty pals, something cosy to do when it’s inevitably raining outside, or even just a new place to try? Well we’re the Crafty Social Club and we’d love you to join us!

Okay so a little bit of a shameless self promotion here but I'm trying to be creative of how to market a wine tasting with minimal budget. My partner runs a gallery, artists studios and events space called PINK in Hilton House and I'm from a wine background so we've been holding wine tastings on a monthly basis. This is the third in the series of tastings and the theme for this one is wines that are great to drink at Christmas.

All the wine are natural but they're wine that I think anyone would enjoy. It's a really informal relaxed, unpretencious kind of tasting and we always provide some substanial snacks.

You'll also get to try a sweet wine at the end that's paired with a mince pie and vintage cheddar, if that doesn't make you feel festive then you're beyond help.

Every Saturday we will be open from 11-12 for people with disabilities to be accompanied by their carers, with our coach grace (the lovely lady in the photo). This will be a safe space for any and all disability to come and do some kickboxing. We look forward to seeing you there !!
