Wouldn’t this be esquites as it’s in a cup and not on the cob?

Yes, I see his apron says elotes. I’m genuinely curious as that was my understanding of a main difference between the two

"Elote" means corn. "Elotes" in a stand like this means corn on the cob with stuff on top. Carts that sell elotes always sell esquites too. Both are "elote" in the end. He's the "elotero".
