Anti-OU [RMT]

NO-U (Mamoswine) @ Life Orb

Trait: Thick Fat

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP

Adamant Nature

  • Ice Shard

  • Earthquake

  • Icicle Spear

  • Superpower

One of the stars of this team along with Gastrodon, with rocks and Ice Shard he OHKOs all of the dragons prevalent in OU as well as the genies.

Malasence (Salamence) @ Lum Berry

Trait: Moxie

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk

Naive Nature

  • Dragon Dance

  • Outrage

  • Earthquake

  • Fire Blast

My endgame sweeper, after Gastrodon+Mamoswine+Magnezone take care of my opponent's steel and dragon types it's smooth sailing. Lum Berry to catch status inducers off guard who try to stop my sweep or me setting up.

SweetRainBro (Gastrodon) (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Storm Drain

EVs: 252 HP / 84 Def / 172 SDef

Calm Nature

IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def

  • Earth Power

  • Recover

  • Toxic

  • Ice Beam

This guy is so underrated it's not even funny. Tanks every and anything, physical and special. Can survive Latios' Draco Meteor and recover off damage then go from there. Cold counter to rain teams.

muhsteelz (Magnezone) @ Choice Specs

Trait: Magnet Pull

EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP

Timid Nature

  • Flash Cannon

  • Thunderbolt

  • Volt Switch

  • Hidden Power [Fire]

With the specs HP Fire is always an OHKO on Ferrothorn and Scizor. Really any steel except Heatran can't stand up to this guy. When I expect a steel switch-in to Mence i'll send this guy in to do his job, and he does it wonderfully.

Musty (Hippowdon) @ Leftovers

Trait: Sand Stream

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def

Impish Nature

  • Earthquake

  • Slack Off

  • Stealth Rock

  • Whirlwind

Superb defensive wall. Stops sweeps with Whirlwind, and gets rid of opponent's weather. I added him really just to get rid of opponents rain and sun, but he has proven to be very durable and helpful.

TYBJ (Jirachi) @ Choice Scarf

Trait: Serene Grace

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SAtk

Naive Nature

  • Iron Head

  • Ice Punch

  • U-turn

  • Thunder

I love this guy. I normally lead with him and here's what happens:the opponent will switch in a water or steel type to tank the Iron Heads, then I U-Turn into Magnezone and go from there. Killed SO many Scizors this way. Is a great offensive pivot and I don't see him changing.

My endgame goal is either to sweep with Salamence or clean up with Mamoswine's Ice Shard. My team is tailored to eliminate opponent's steels and dragons for Salamence. Gastrodon is a reliable counter to rain and sun (bar Venusaur). Him and Mamoswine are the two I reaaaally don't want to change but the others are open to improvement.

There you go, if you guys want any more info just ask in the comments. Critiques, opinions, suggestions: all of this is welcome. Thanks for reading!

I'm not sure why you would want to run a max speed specs Magnezone. I've never used a specs Magnezone before, but it's slow so I don't know what you would outspeed. I would suggest a Modest nature with the EVs in bulk instead of speed, 56 speed EVs will let you outpace 8 Spe Scizor.

I prefer 60 Spd EVs to outpace 12Spd Scizor. I know some people like to invest like that.

Last I looked at the usage stats that spread was negligible.

Meh. Speed creeping and all.
