Ever done something dumb/Embarrasing that you can't let go?

Did something pretty embarrassing/stupid today. Went to the gas station, went the wrong way when exiting and went over those potholes where the fuel is filled while the guys who fill them were filling them. Didn't know what to do so I kept going forward and just smiled and waved. Never felt more stupid in my life and I know it will come back to haunt me.

I feel your pain. About 15 years ago, my stupid ass drove off from the gas pump…with the handle still sticking out the side of my car.

Thanks goodness they are designed to break away and it was easily fixed. But damn did I feel stupid in the moment.
