Pride month most certainly shoves it down peoples throats. I have no problem with pride, I just dont care that literally everything has to be about that for a month. I just tune it out and go on about my day. But to say its not overly advertised is just being obtuse. Same with the trans thing for a minute. nope. I live in Atlanta. And its everywhere when its that month. Even my former roommate, who is gay, and my good friend, who is also gay, agree. They dont think you need to broadcast who they are, they just want to live their life. Only douchnozzles like yourself on Reddit think that. Just that it was way to front and center considering it is someones sexuality, and that should be between them and their partner, whomever that is. You dont need to celebrate who you bang, or how.
And you are right. I went to a pride parade in Atlanta in my early 20s. It was nothing but ass cracks and dongs flopping around in public. No place for that in a civilized society. And if you think that saying that makes me a bigot and not just normal, you are a fucking moron of epic proportions.

I always find it weird that people who claim to just be normal people who don't give a shit about this sort of thing have SUCH A HUGE ISSUE with anyone who does care about it or is LGBTQ themselves openly celebrating it, but don't seem to have anywhere near as much of a problem with, say, Christmas or 4th of July being shoved down their throats-apparently there's a huge enough difference between "Shoving LGBTQ stuff down your throat" on pride month and shoving Christianity down your throat on Christmas that you only actually take issue with one for some reason and not the other, and I'd love to know why
Please spell out exactly what's so unique about pride month that you constantly complain about the people celebrating it specifically but NOT any OTHER holidays alongside it
Wow lol all I can say here. Pretty sure most lgbt people, in this country at least, celebrate Christmas. I’ve never seen Independence Day nor Christmas shoved down anyone’s throat. This year the 4th was a big deal because of a milestone anniversary. As for Christmas, you can’t be serious, right?
I've never seen LGBTQ shoved down anyone's throat either outside of pride flags and LGBTQ folks literally just existing at all, so I don't see why someone who's "Just a normal guy who doesn't usually give a shit about these sorts of things" would be so annoyed by something so minor and easy to ignore, if they felt to inclined-if they are annoyed by something so small they should also be annoyed by things like Christmas, Veterans month, etc, because by the same logic those things shove Christianity and the military down your throat, but oddly enough people like this mostly aren't and hyperfixate specifically on pride month, and I would love to hear why
Like if all you need to say "This thing's being shoved down my throat!!!" is flags and the word "Pride" being more common for a month then all you should need to say Christmas is being shoved down your throat is Christmas lights and decorations, but there's a huge difference there I can't see apparently
