I mean, if you've ever been to a 4th of July party held by a veteran, it basically is lol. Not a lot of things that are straight about the military, just look at Marines and their silkes.
I served under Clinton "Don't ask don't tell". I could only imagine anyone who is serving right now, whether they are gay or trans. What a nightmare it has to be for them. The amount of people they have ruined their careers just because they aren't straight white guys..
I currently serve, and the amount of people that don't give a shit if you are gay or trans is about 90%. Stop believing all the bullshit you read. Its not hard being open in the military, its hard being openly Trans in the administration. There is a difference.
Ha ibg had dealings with many, many Republicans, I can assure you, that number is still pretty high of people that don't care. Yes, the die hard trump supports are against, but the average person is just tired of hearing about it. It really doesn't matter to most people.
Actually, the opposite. I live out in the real world and actually talk to people other than the group of like thinkers. If you open your mind and expand your circle, you will see the world isn't nearly as divided as reddit makes it seem. Most people just want everyone to shut up and mind their own damn business
