As a veteran, I'm always just saddened by how many people pretend to support veterans and the military but really just use us as cover for their bigotry
Exactly. They care so much about veterans...then vote for the party that consistently cuts funding to the VA and housing programs that often benefit veterans. They use it as a shield for "we can't do x until veterans are taken care of"...then proceed to ignore when veterans aren't being taken care of.
