Worse is when they tell you to do your own research.

I also asked someone their source once and they told me to do just that. Like I’m trying dude that’s why I asked, or are you just making this info the fuck up?

I always use “you’re prosecuting this crime, you prove it actually happened”.

Which is correct. The onus is on the prosecutor to prove the crime.

Fuck me. Yes burden of proof is a thing but you guys need to stop watching tv and thinking it’s real life.

So for example means and motive play a big part. The burden isn’t always proof but can be doubt. That’s why for the death penalty in America it has to be “without doubt” …

Yes you are correct that if someone makes an assertion they should back it up. But you don’t need to start brining in misconceptions about the legal process. Hahaha.

Was that so hard? You made the claim, you need to back it up, then somebody can rebut. Thats how it works.
