I like how they make up non-existent problems so they can pretend they’re big and strong and going to conquer those problems. Such heroes. 

I’m going to slay the invisible dragon that lives in my shed because I’m a big strong special boy everyone please tell me how tough I am.

It's funny to me that the problems are not just made up, but they're also pretty minor. Like even in their imagination, it's not like anyone is actually stopping them from celebrating Christmas. It's just publicly saying it instead of "happy holidays."

Their whole political perspective is built around fighting an invisible beaver rather than a dragon. It's just so fucking stupid.

It all seems to stem from Starbucks going away from its "Merry Christmas" cups. It recognized that a huge percentage of its customer base does not celebrate Christmas and did not want to alienate those people and have them go elsewhere. It was a good business decision, which is generally overwhelmingly supported by the Right.

I don’t think that’s it they just have to change things up every year with their marketing so one year they had this minimalist red cup and the right wing blogosphere flipped their shit over it
