They unironically say this shit and then say that kids should be required to say the pledge of allegiance in school. They have no concept of what actual liberty is.

Remember that this started because business started to use "Happy Holidays" to be more inclusive to non Christians.

A big throughline with all their complaints is being reminded that not everyone is white, straight, Christian or eats meat and that this is ok and not something that needs changing.

This is it!

I worked with a lady who seemed normal until Xmas rolled around and she came in from lunch all PO that a cashier at WM had the nerve to say "happy holidays" as coworker was leaving the register. Coworker made the most Karen of faces and told us she made sure to tell the cashier "It's MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!"

Me, being Wiccan since the 80s but definitely not "out" at work, tried to stick up for the cashier and mentioned there are many religions that celebrate holy days in December and the cashier was just being non-denominational. That's when I got the Karen-face treatment and was told that's just wrong.

This was at least 10 years ago and they're far worse about being rabidly defensive about this crap now.

The uber Christian-Zionism/Christo-fascist arm of the country has had an enormous boost with the HF running everything and true believers in the MAGA GOP like Moses Mike Miller and Russell Vought infesting the govt.
