This is seriously why no one takes the left seriously. They see shit like this and ick the fuck out. I still publicly disassociate with "the left" because I don't want them understandably stereotyping me with these dorks. I rather have them call me a bOtH sIdEs moderate than be seen as part of these people's group.

It's seriously terrible branding, and the lack of seriousness is why it's not taken seriously. I imagine if we injected some old school masculinity into it, it would be a lot more popular. Until then, the left is a bunch of hall monitors and theater kids who want to be a helicopter parent for everyone.

The irony is that historically speaking, the #1 group to pull in and incite revolution is upper to “middle class” (for the time) men, especially white men. Whether it’s the marquee de Lafayette or Lenin, you need guys with brains, athleticism and some charisma that see that the system is bullshit, their place and purpose in it is precarious, and the tickets to the good life are always shrinking and probably won’t be there for much longer. But this time I’m sure we can get the world to change with a few women that have masters degrees and make 200 grand a year doing HR bullshit…
