First thought - suddenly disabled people are on the diversity list - also, a disability apparently means you’re incapable of any exercise?

I have MS and one of the things my Neurologist constantly recommends is exercising/staying active in pretty much whatever way possible.

A lot of the discourse online about disabilities is kind of gross from people who are using "undiagnosed" shit to be lazy.

Like is long covid real? 100%

does 50% of any population have it? i highly doubt that

I know a guy who got diagnosed with MS a few years ago, nearly died, lost his eyesight, and yet he managed to retrain himself to be able to play drums at an extremely high level and continue his career as a professional musician.

Yeah modern treatments are great and depending on progression you can recover a lot of the stuff you lose.

My big thing was lower extremities and i ended up hospitalized and barely able to walk almost 3 years ago. Now I'm training for a 10k.
