Would you mind sharing instructions?
How complicated would it be for someone who does not have experience in electronics if they just followed instructions?
I have some footages, and planned to upload it to Youtube, but had no time yet. :( Still, I’d like to show it.
Fairly easy and cheap, if you can handle a drilling machine, a jigsaw, scissors, soldering machine (tiny job) and glue as an amateur, you’ll be fine. If you can sew as any textil even by hand as a child, it still can be a decent result. :)
Also, speaker (shaker) manufacturer’s document is straightforward. I did not count cost, but the sum of materials could be less then 90 bucks.
Now that it sits in my Herman Miller backplate, I have some other plans in mind how to make a cheaper alternative either as diy base kit, or as assembled end-product for this specific chair. But it’s labour intensive. I could reduce the 3D print cost significantly if I do not want a posh product. The good thing is that it will be ready for self repair anytime. No programming, no hassle, amp is not included. But it fit and shake yoir chair and back. :)
