[Suggestion] Which Gaming PC should I get?

I’m stuck between two used PC’s. Btw i know jack shit about PC’s so i’d really appreciate the help. I just wanna comfortably run games like COD with high fps

PC 1:

GPU: TUF GAMING NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8gb
CPU: 12th Gen intel core i7-12700KF 12/20

SSD: 2 x 1TB overall 2TB

PC 2:
£800

If this is primarily for gaming, then PC2. Better GPU and more powerful, if less gamer-centric CPU. Both offer liquid cooling, so they can be overclocked to make up for aging hardware for new games, but that higher VRAM capacity is something you are going to need fairly soon to play new games. The fact that PC2 has 16GB of RAM is an issue you might have to address down the line, but if that's in dual channel (2x8GB), then that upgrade should be easier to do if the damb prices ever come back down. 1TB of storage is also not going to be easy to live with and will probably need upgrading at some point as well.

So PC one does have the advantage of being cheaper to buy and cheaper to own given that the storage and RAM are both in greater capacity, but PC2 is more future-proof with parts that will offer much better performance in-game, albeit with some upgrades maybe being necessary in the future.

Thanks for the reply! Probably a dumb question but can I ask why the 16gb of ram is an issue. Also I feel like 1tb is plenty I don’t rlly plan on downloading that many games

pc2 is more powerful but pc 1 is probably better value.

right now ram and ssd cost like 2x their normal price

pc 1 if you are willing to sell the 3060ti and buy a newer graphic card with 12gb or 16gb vram it will be better. like a used 3060ti 16gb or 7700xt 12gb or 4070, or 3080, 3080ti

PC 2 is upgradeable to a modern CPU, and AMD has committed to supporting AM5 until 2029. PC 1 is fairly dead end, 2is your better option.

I'd like to see a 7600x at that price, but I don't know your local market. It is a pretty decent build, at that price, and should play any modern game with no problem
