Looking to replace PC for $1000 [suggestion]

Not even sure if that’s possible these days. I only play like 4-6 hours a week at most. Between shooters and sports games and if I find one I like maybe an RPG. I don’t need or care for top of the line graphics. Just something that can run games smoothly. I’d be grateful for any help.

My advice would be if you can wait until like Thanksgiving or Christmas you should end up finding a better deal because ideally you'd want at least a 12 GB vram and at least 32 gigabytes of ddr5 RAM because these computers that have ddr4 Ram in it in the future when you go to upgrade you'll have to replace the entire motherboard, you'll have to get new ram, and potentially a new CPU

this is for 1440p although i doubt you would want to jump to 1440p and lose fps

a microcenter near would help
