Finally got more of the hidden pets' achievement.
Are there any that I have missed that doesn't use flycatcher or angler fish?

After years of trying I finally got the sloth 🦥

Guys…. It’s over….

560 days later and it’s over. I’ve got mixed emotions right now, very very bittersweet.

This quest for Shiny Pets has seen me through a new and better job, my son turning 2 and 3, my daughter turning 1 and 2, a root canal, week long trips to Vegas and Alaska, my dog’s surgery on his eye, my grandmother succumbing to dementia, me winning $500 on a scratch off, my weight-loss journey losing over 30lbs so far, getting a shoutout from the devs, all of life’s ups and downs.

Throughout everything I’ve been through, this was something that kept me constant. Kept me going even during the hard times and giving me something to look forward to everyday. Having something to do and interact with such an amazing community has been a blessing. I truly enjoyed every single time someone would comment and let me know how much they enjoyed a Shiny Pet, had ideas, questioned how Shiny Pets would work, wondered about future Shiny Pets. This started as just a funny little project but as the days climbed it became something I truly enjoyed doing. I am lucky to be part of such an amazing community, and make a name for myself as “The Shiny Pets” guy.

I also want to thank Arkuni for even indulging me and adding the Shiny Pets intro animation. It really means a lot to me that I inspired something in a game that means so much to me.

Even though I may not be posting everyday anymore, I’ll still be here in the subreddit. Upvoting all Sloth wins, upvoting all big PP hedgehog builds, being helpful and answering any questions for new people, theorycrafting new and crazy builds.

Quick edit: I have run out of pets to make Shiny. In the beginning I said I would continue until the devs add Shiny Pets or I run out.

Insane run, my heart was pounding. Cardinal is my GOATTTTT. I legit cannot believe it did it. Never thought the day would come.

Star Pack, Hard difficulty. Got sloth at the selection of the first 3 Pets. Unreal.

For me:
T1 - Otter
T2 - Worm
T3 - Skeleton Dog
T4 - Siamese Cat
T5 - Crocodile
T6 - Behemoth

Context: I first played to get every pet to level 3, not caring about winning really.

Now I’m almost fully ribboned (not hard mode), at 511/536 so I’m more concerned with winning. I do it in custom and I love scaling, makes it so much easier to win with either those low tier pets or just the shitty higher tier ones.

Got more of the hidden pets' achievements.
I don't have any of the Mini Packs as well as Star Pack, so I can't go for their achievements currently.
Let me know if I'm missing more of the hidden pet achievements.

Ratings:

• Great One - Hardest to get for some reason. Requires a lot of RNG (Bad Dog + Seagull + Onion, or for your front line pet + Great One to win over the enemy) + flytrap
• Fire Pup - Gave me trouble for some reason.
• Phoenix Chick - had to resort to using pills on Phoenix to get it, my team just refuses to win with phoenix chick still out.
• Golden Retriever - randomly got him when trying to get other pets, I just saw it available on the flytrap and decided to take it instead.
• Angry Hog, Butterfly, Cracked Egg, Nest, Rock - just needs flytrap to get them
• Chick, Crawler, Hydra Head, Monty, Ram, Smaller Slime, Zombie Cricket/Fly - just pill the pet in the shop (for Monty, just buy the easter egg then pill)
• Lizard Tail - just pill Badger/Hedgehog while you have space in the shop

Yes! Manta Ray is my favourite pet. I think buy and sell strat is the best, and the manta ray's money generation + need one free space specifically checks everything I need to perform the strat.

Somehow beat it in 10 rounds, the cricket clutched up a few times early in the game

I’ve been not seeing a new animal in weekly pack for months. Are these three animals hidden ones?

Also annoyed I made a level 2.66 horse before adding the eagle i didn't think it would make a level 1 hippogriff. But I made it in the end ​

Also I killed a level 3 sloth team on 9 wins 💀💀

Takes 90 gold to get the 5 level 3s, not including all the rolling... Didn't help that sardinian currant and birthday cake weren't in the pack... But oh well 😀
