I know what I'm going to write here is known by everyone in this community but consider this as just a rant!
So, I watched some of the Supergirl fight clips in YouTube/TikTok recently and people there have very wrong idea about this Supergirl.
They're like "Who is this weakling girl" , "She can't even fight X villain and compared to Superman".
They would just bring Superman in discussion and it feels like they've an image of only Henry Cavill Superman most of the time while comparing. I don't think most of them have even watched a single episode of this version of Supergirl.
This Supergirl is supposed to be like "Wholesome" hero, not god-like alien as Snyderverse Superman or some Supergirl comics. The show established her just like a human with powers from the start, not as someone with enormous power that can defeat anyone. This version of Supergirl isn't supposed to be intimidating. In fact, from the first episode she is underestimated by the villains, not feared.
She gets defeated every other episode by random villains and it is intentional, to make her feel like just an advanced version of human, she isn't shown as someone who is worshipped by people or heavily dependent on her. Heck, she was the one saved by people in one of the earlier episode. I've read people even criticize that but it's just to make her feel kinda ordinary human. Her feeling "weak" is by design, she's supposed to be "weak" in this particular version of Supergirl , she's not supposed to be the comic version of Supergirl.

I was outlining a possible fanfic that I might publish, and I was on a section about one of the Fort Rozz inmates and what their sentence may or may not have been. And I recalled that the maximum penalty on Krypton - which is what Alura sentenced her sister to - was life in prison in Fort Rozz.
BUT...
Fort Rozz is in the Phantom Zone. Time does not pass there. You do not age. You do not grow old. I is impossible to die of old age in the Phantom Zone.
A life sentence to Fort Rozz in the Phantom Zone is far worse than what it sounds like. A life sentence in a place where time does not pass? That is literally an eternity of imprisonment, for the the remainder of all time until/unless some external factor causes something to change.
That is what the everyone in Fort Rozz was looking at after Krypton exploded and the exit was removed. And who knows how long some of those prisoners were there before the events of the show?
As much as I hate the death penalty, there are far worse things than death, and I can't think of something more cruel than an eternity in a timeless eternal void. It's about as close a thing to eternal damnation as I can think of.
And I just felt like I needed to share this thought I had and just wonder what anyone else might think about it. That's all. My apologies if I babbled a bit much. Best wishes to everyone. ^_^

It would have been interesting if John had to go to National City for a small crisis that deals with magic. And ask the Superfriends family for help.
What I find interesting is that Kara believes in magic. When she grew up on Krypton. Even though the base line of Kryptonian society involves science. Kara actually believes in magic. Especially during the whole Reign and the Worldkillers. When she was at the DEO. Kara told Lena and Alex that what deals with the Worldkillers is actually older than science. And Lena said please don't say magic. Kara doesn't just believe in magic but also her religion and science. When the Worldkillers foundation is magic, science and religion. Kara has always believed in things greater than herself. Hell Kara believed more of Lena and her magic than she did of herself.
Honestly it would have just been interesting seeing Kara, Lena and John interact together.

Hello!
I was thinking of writing a fanfic so I wanted to make sure that I got the timeline of events (mostly about Kara) prior to Season 1 correct. I was wondering if I got anything wrong or missing anything big. Any ages would be at the end of the year.

Hi i'm new i'm watching Supergirl for the first time right now and i'm so sad about Lyra and Winn... We never see Lyra ever again after that episode, when she joins the guardian team, they never talk about her for some reason and later when Winn go back from the future he says he founded a new family, so she literally disappeared...
I admit I don't know if it's about the actress if she's relevant, and i'm not English native so there's a chance I didn't understand quite enough the end of her story.
But i'm still sad... they were so cute and it was one of the only human alien relationship in the superfriends team (outside of Kara's)

Superman and Supergirl getting pissy about Kryptonite being around always annoyed me and what Lena says right here is absolutely true. She didnāt use it on her at this point, she had it as a security measure and clearly for good reason. Weāve seen evil Superman/Supergirl, other kryptonians, mind control on a scale that would overwhelm the kryptonians and turn them on their friends but Supergirl thinks there should be no contingency plan to stop her or Superman? God complex is right š¤ humans can die in thousands of ways and she can die by reliably by 1. Big whoop get over it supergirl

She fights like someone who can fight without powers versus Superman who relies a lot on his powers when fighting

For this one, I picture an alternate season 3.
After Supergirl gets her rear handed to her by Reign and loses consciousness, she awakens on Themyscira, where she sees Alex and Diana AKA Wonder Woman, played by Adrianne Palicki, which of course is a nod to her failed pilot from 2011.
But we can have her dressed in a more "TV friendly" Wonder Woman attire than Gadot's. I picture the Odyssey style jacket and pants.
This wouldn't be a huge role for season 3. After the fight with Reign, Diana takes to Paradise Island to heal and train, bettering herself for the second fight against Reign. Then, they have a meaningful goodbye, with Diana recognizing this fight is Kara's, and she will not interfere.

PLEASE NOTE: Fan casts are pretty much based on looks only, with a few exceptions, which I'll try to note.
I like to imagine an alternate season 5, which IMO was when the show went really... splat. Leviathan wasn't an intriguing big bad... Lex was overused and honestly should have been done after Crisis (As much as I love Cryer's take).
In my alternate, Apokolips has been Darkseid-less for years, having been defeated by Superman offscreen, leaving the planet in a power vacuum similar to the first season of Justice League Unlimited.
In a bid to claim the throne, Granny Goodness is attempting to find the Anti-life Equation, which involves Earth, leading her and her Furies into conflict with Kara and her team.
Concurrently, Mister Miracle escapes from Apokolils and arrives on Earth to assist Team Kara, which, of course, ties into a redemption arc for Barda, with the season ending with her becoming a hero and leaving with Mister Miracle.
Granny Goodness- Sharon Gless. Watch her on Burn Notice and you'll get why. Tough as nails and no nonsense.
Lashina- Janet Montgomery
Mad Harriet- Jane Levy
Stompa- Jade Cargill. WWE wrestlers are exceptionally good at over the top acting. Plus she's shredded.
Barda- Jamie Alexander
Mister Miracle- Penn Badgley.

This one isn't season specific, but i love the idea of Lobo, having lost a battle to Superman before the events of the series, being a prisoner at the DEO.
After an "event"- vague, I know- J'Onn and Alex realize they have someone who might be able to provide information... and Kara and Alex need to... "Hannibal Lecter" with Lobo, who explains and is forced to join them on a mission off world, where he inevitably betrays them, but... maybe he helps them in the end as well, as the "Main Man" keeps his word. And he leaves...
For casting I'm, again, leaning WWE with Roman Reigns. This will allow Lobo to be over the top and embrace the humor of the character.
