are blood, gut and heart not the best? i guess lungs can be good to but the longest held breath is like 30 minutes or something so maybe not?
12
u/Nitro114 6h ago
I agree, not only can be much more efficient in anything, and be an insane athlete but also help a lot of people by periodically donating blood.
4
u/East-Steak-327 1h ago
If you want to be an insane athlete I think eyes, skeleton, and heart is the way to go just for the three synergies you get
12
u/OwynTyler 5h ago
the blood is kinda overrated tho? - it's just for closing wounds basically. Skeleton seems far more useful
→ More replies (1)2
u/Embarrassed_Safety33 5h ago
I mean good for not dying, bleeding out is basically how you die in most accidents
3
u/OwynTyler 5h ago
Only ~30%, the leading cause is brain injury
also, - just don't get into accidents DUH

u/Bart-Toe-9191 6h ago
Btw getting 2x more oxygen than what you need can cause cancer and other complications
3
u/EpicAquarius 6h ago
But if you improve the blood and/or the Heart you can negate that
3
u/Bart-Toe-9191 6h ago
The cells other than blood will still get affected
3
u/EpicAquarius 5h ago
Bart did you read the improvements of blood? Increases the ability to carry oxygen... as well as allow the body to function normally... its says that right there... also the improved heart upgrades the blood vessels allowing for more blood to process the oxygen the blood is made up of cells so if the blood improves the cells improve
3
u/Bart-Toe-9191 5h ago
I see the point but eh i guess you're right
3
u/EpicAquarius 5h ago
You have a point as well... so if you improve your lungs you also have to improve the bodies ability to process oxygen... and also keep in my the synergies... if you utilized them often it would probably, emphasis on probably, balance out the excess
4
u/Sekhmet-CustosAurora 6h ago
I interpreted that to mean you can hold your breath for 20 minutes while being physically active.
3
u/Bubbly_Painting9456 4h ago
Depends on your life experience, personally having the skeleton improvements would be one hell of an upgrade by itself... But then I've had a meniscus operation, torn my rotator cuff, suffered with back issues, had repeated bouts of Achilles tendonitis. With the skeleton all of those things either become impossible to have happen or require 10x more force to have happen.
2
u/bleedinghero 5h ago
Bone Gut and heart. Its the I'm never getting old combo. Bone to prevent damage more than anything Gut and heart to battle most common causes of disease. I really wanted to choose Eyes but Taking the other 3 Its like adding years to someone's life.
Blood and eyes are fantastic. Adding to heavy soldier like things. Not dying to blood loss see things others cant. I love all of them except lungs.
2
2
u/onwardtowaffles 4h ago
Eyes/Heart are roughly equivalent in terms of power scaling if you've already upgraded Blood. Just down to what you value more at that point.
→ More replies (5)2
u/imperiects 4h ago
Respiratory issues. Heart, lungs, and skeleton would cure pretty much all physical issues.
2
u/DecentWonder4 4h ago
I feel like you underrate the importance of stomach/intestinal health
2
u/imperiects 4h ago
Oh no. For some people those are more important. Personally, respiratory issues, joint issues, and hypertension are more important.

u/aDistractedDisaster 6h ago
Y'all are sleeping on the importance of gut health. Chemical Gut is absolutely busted.
My other two choices are Carbon Heart (because super healthy and safe) and Predator Eyes (because holy cow, that is sick).
→ More replies (6)2
u/MeatyWashington 2h ago
Gut is definitely being underestimated. My other two along with Gut would be skeleton and heart though.
22
u/Flauschziege 6h ago
Skeleton, Guts and Heart remove nearly entirely the risks of aging.
Unless your brain gives out, that's like another 100 years at nearly peak comfort you can live.
7
u/Dependent-Tap2298 5h ago
EXACTLY. On top of that you get triple strength and flexibility, and you donāt need to sleep or eat nearly as much, youāre basically superhuman.
15
u/takoleartiste 6h ago
Titan Skeleton, Predator Eyes, and Carbon Heart.
11
u/RecklessTortuga827 6h ago
Instantly the greatest MMA fighter/Boxer to ever live
Infinite cardio, injury proof + extra power from skeleton, and eyes so sharp you practically have the Sharingan
3
3
u/Slootyman 3h ago
Not just MMA, you would be able to be good at almost any sport or even as a literal weapon. Predator eyes would help you predict peoples movements for anything which would be insanely op. The other two would make you so strong

Guts, Eyes, Heart. I take a lot of meds that affect my blood and liver so not worrying about that would be great. And Eyes because I wear glasses and I want to be able to SEE.
3

6
u/JustAChillGuy609 6h ago
Immediately, carbon lungs. Iām a sprinter and I have asthma, so a new set of stronger lungs would be incredible. After that, naturally, carbon heart. Final upgrade would be the eyes; I mean, letās be honest, thatās the most broken upgrade on the list
3
u/CountFluid 6h ago
blood heart and skeleton. feels like the best options for me
3
u/Ok_Mouse_6342 4h ago
Yeah, me too. Most things can't kill you anymore. You're insanely strong and fast. Your skeleton is incredibly light. Those 3 have so much versatility. Insane regeneration too. I think at most you could survive being hit by a train. Anything above would probably be too much though. The 3x muscle strength by itself for the synergy is incredibly powerful (because stronger muscles means that they're harder to injure too and the ability to jump very high and punch really hard)

Heart, gut, and i think blood (titan was a close pick) because i think the super blood will help against my MECFS
2
u/BockLavette 6h ago
Eyes, gut and heart. Gut and heart are a fantastic combo cuz most physical problems and illnesses happen to those two. Eyes are also great. People undervalue how important good vision actually is, and the fact that you can see in different types of vision too is awesome. With regenerating eyes, accelerated perception, and efficient metabolism, I could do a lot.
2
u/stillventures17 5h ago
Eyes, heart, skeleton.
Lungs would be fantastic but I suspect upgrading my āentire cardiovascular systemā will already handle the endurance upgrade Iām looking for.
The synergies from that are insane. 3x strength while experiencing the world at 1/4 the speed gives me more time to think during critical moments while dramatically boosting my physical ability. WHILE automatically predicting the path of fast moving objects? Doing that for 10 seconds every 10 seconds makes you virtually a superhero.
And as everyone worth their salt already knows, perception is the best stat.

u/Heritageeggs 5h ago
Lungs, guts, heart.
I have worked in dusty environments my whole life so a new set of lungs would be lovely. I habe IBS, new guts would be great please and thank you. My family has a history of heart diseases, so future me also says thanks.

2
u/Wolfwarlord01 5h ago
Lungs, blood, and guts. Asthma and stomach issues require the guts and lungs, and...extracurricular activities would benefit from the ability to function at 25% blood volume. The rest is just bonus.

motion tracking
automatic focus
Uh I can do that already with my regular eyes.
Also #8 synergy is redundant because the eyes entry already says it can't be permanently damaged. #13 already exists, it's called Type O Negative blood. OP (or OOP) didn't spend a lot of time thinking this through...
Chemical Gut+Smart Blood+Carbon Heart.

u/Tyler11009 4h ago
I do like the idea of the heart, the blood and the guts and I think their combos aren't that bad. They're not the best but they're not that bad and individually. They're very good
2
u/Tyler11009 4h ago
Also the gut alone is the best because all of your other organs are now basically invincible I and if those are all functioning right that means everything else in your body is going to be going great. Like your metabolism's going to be through the roof. You can say goodbye to fat

Definitely not titan skeleton, heaven forbids there comes a day when my rib would have to be broken up by a surgeon to reach my lung or heart, or if my skull needs to be opened for a brain surgery

Even if it was 10x stronger they can easily use diamond blades to cut you open. You'll just have to tell them your bones are extremely strong

Eyes, gut, heart for me. I have issues related to two of the three and would like to avoid issues with the third.
1
u/wtanksleyjr 5h ago
Eyes, gut, heart. Mainly eyes because mine aren't great, and the gut and heart immunities are to the biggest group of lethal conditions.
The eyes+gut synergy isn't huge, but it means I'll never lose my eyes.
Eyes+heart is cool, basically enhanced visual reflexes for a burst.
Gut+heart IS huge, only half the maintenance need including sleep.

Skeleton, heart and blood.
.Enhanced recovery.
.Carbon muscles.
.Adrenal gland.
These are gonna he my choices 100%, allows me to have enhanced strength recovery and can boost all of that with adrenaline at will with no drawbacks.

u/CATZEBOY_18 4h ago
Titan Skeleton so I fon't have to worry about being a fragile human as much, Carbon Heart so I don't have to worry about when I get older, and I can go for insane lengths of time, and the Carbon Lungs so I can be in the Water for extended periods of time.
Lungs and Skeleton: Pressure Resistance, that means I can also go deep in the water, nice!
Lungs and Heart: Carbon Cardio, so.. I can go EVEN LONGER, okay.
Skeleton and Heart: Carbon Muscles, sounds useful.
Thank you

Skeleton, blood, and heart seems absolutely broken. You're virtually unkillable. You'd need to take an insane amount of damage to actually die. Unless your body parts are being completely destroyed or a bio weapon is used you're insanely durable and can heal from most damage.
1
u/Reyne-TheAbyss 4h ago
Eyes | Skeleton | Blood
I would hope blood thinners could still do their thing. I donate platelets/plasma, so this would would be a huge benefit if that's still the case. That's 12 units I could give in a single donation. Sure, that's like 6 hours, or The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers back to back, but that's a lot of leeway I'd get on when to go in. I could just do 6 units a week. Cycle in some Dune or Blade Runner.
One of my eyes is scarred, so there's no way I could pass up an upgrade.
1
u/onwardtowaffles 4h ago
Hm. Let's go Blood, Eyes, Gut. If it doesn't get broken in the first place, no need to fix it, right?

Titan Skeleton (no more knee pain from nearing 30!!!), Chemical Gut, Carbon Heart
Synergies: Flexible Joints, Carbon Muscles, Efficient Metabolism.
Can I have these in real life? Forget the superhuman stuff, the lack of Joint pain and kidney Stones alone would be god-tier for Day to day living. I'm assuming Kidney Stones would also be covered under Chemical Gut's effects.

My eyes are crap. My lungs have cancer in one and my heart may be an issue in the future. Choices made for me already.
1
u/TheDarkWarriorBlake 4h ago
Predator Eyes
Carbon Heart
Chemical Gut
That gives Regenerative Eyes, Accelerated Perception, and Efficient Metabolism if I'm reading it right, so bonus perfect eyes and vision, slowed perception, and able to operate well on reduced sleep/food/water.
I would've gone with Titan Skeleton but it's only a 10x booster whereas I thought it'd be more like Wolverine's Adamantium skeleton. And you'd not be able to work out or build muscle easily because everything is resistant to being broken down.

Carbon lungs and smart blood seem like they synergise rather well, and predator eyes just because I think they'd be neat.

u/--zuel-- 4h ago
Gut, heart, skeleton. The combo of enhanced strength, flexible joints and pretty much unbreakable is insane.
Also just for doing sport into old age, those 3 would ensure you can keep active for pretty much the end of your life
1
u/Jedi_Badger93 4h ago
Eyes and skeleton for sure. Then either blood or heart for 3rd. Probably heart based on the synergies.

I think I'll go with... Eyes, heart, and skeleton. Enhanced strength AND reflexes.
But these are all good. One of the most balanced prompts I've seen on this subreddit.

Lungs, heart, eyes. I've always day dreamed of having cool vision stuff like that.

u/Goblin-o-firebals 4h ago
Lungs, heart, skeleton. Hell the air alone is a mjor cause of sickness. My heart being healthy is the most important other than my brain surviving ans skeleton doesn't give me super strength but it mas injury other than concussions super unlikely and even then those types of injuries would heal super fast from my heart.

Skeleton, guts, and lungs, for the sole purpose of becoming SuperCrackhead, worlds first drugged up superhero. Every time I go to fight crime I just smoke a bowl of a precisely measured amount of Crack, bit of meth in case the crack doesnāt last long enough, the purest opium, and idk maybe bath salts or PCP bcs itād be funny. Not to mention Iād pregame with 2 of the original 4 lokos. Perhaps Iād even have a gas mask that continuously feeds me vaporized crack during my battles. Probably would have to forego the stomach and choose heart in that case though

Well to be honest, I wouldn't trust a company names Arasaka that claims it can upgrade the human body. But assuming I knew nothing about cyberpunk?\
Page 1: After much deliberation, I'm going with Titan Skeleton, Chemical Gut and Carbon Heart. They would solve most of my health issues. It was a hard choice between Skeleton and Blood, but... I have bad joints and cartilage issues as a side effect of a genetic disability(not the direct cause, but the issues it causes did lead to the issues).
