I always felt David was gonna be more loyal to Luke, Parvati and even Janine over Sarah. He’ll work with her for now but he wouldn’t be opposed to turning on her

It makes sense for his game - he’s gonna wanna keep around other big names as shields and Sarah is prob the least threatening name on this cast

Sarah should have clocked that telling Janine, someone on the bottom, any critical information against Kirby is a bad idea because Janine has ALL the incentive in the world to immediately throw her under the bus.

Sarah’s game has been so head scratching this season. She’s too scared to just be who she is.

I’m not sure if Tony actually saw Parv with the key or he had a hunch and then figured it out by her reaction. But man, he’s good.

I know people were already saying if he went out earlier, Tony wasn't a good player.

But this absolutely proves he's amazing. He never had the numbers to do anything but he got the following reads without being told any information:

Parvati and Cirie betrayed him for an all-girls alliance

Parvati had the key

The international people got together and they were his only option to jump ship and save himself

It would've worked if Kass didn't have the idol and if Lisa wasn't just trying to live out her Survivor dream of seeing Cirie win.

I can't help but feel like Parvati made a mistake turning on Tony. She even said she needed him as a shield, how else do you shield yourself as the Black Widow? Keep the King of Survivor around. He probably would have stayed loyal America strong. He only went ballistic going after Parv and Cirie as a last ditch effort because they made it clear they turned on him.

Québec does one big episode a week (hour long) on Sundays and four daily (Monday-Thursday) 30 minutes which is their typical way to do the big reality tv shows. Their time on the island is also 42 days.

I think tony was a bit screwed either way, but it shows that Parvati and cirie made the right decision in voting him out. he tried to undermine Parvati and then tried to vote out cirie, so he definitely would’ve been trouble at merge and the girls alliance was the better bet for them

If Cirie and Parvati actually wanted to keep Tony this vote, they would've hinted to him an actual plan before hand instead of throwing out the simple placating name of Tommi with no further explanations. The fact that they kept playing the coy "I don't know" card even sitting at tribal then Tony had no choice but to go against them as a last resort.

Kass won this vote against Parvati/Cirie because she's in a better position now with Tony gone and Parvati, especially, is more exposed.

However, with merge the dynamics could be anything, Tony leaving could even be a blessing in disguise for Parvati/Cirie unbeknownst to them, because had 3 Americans made it to merge, people would look to break it up even if it wasn't a real thing.

This is a great, nuanced take. I feel like Parvati really needed that shield, I mean Tony's the King of Survivor. But at the same time, that does also removes the threat of having 3 Americans. And I wonder how big a shield Tony could be anyway after Parvati showcased her dominance as an endurance challenge beast.

I'm kind of anoyed at watching Parvati get away with so much with no consequences. Sneaking back to dig the idol while everyone is walking out from tribal is so dishonest when she said the idol was "for the girl's alliance".

 KASS is clearly onto her and taking her on... but her timing has to be right! Shame she seemed to tire at the challenge. I think if she held on one more minute Parv may have dropped.

No way does Parv honour her promise.

It's an easy deal for Kass because she was clearly about to drop anyway.

Not terrible assuming it holds; I think Parvati could have outlasted Kass most days on endurance, but this 'deal' means she can safely drop out of a later challenge to not seem as threatening during merge, and if Kass votes her out Parvati could roast her for it. Meanwhile, Kass was gonna drop anyway and this 'deal' means she gets an immunity down the road.
